I agree. serg just doesnt have the firepower in my opinion. he's not a big enough puncher to really pressure wlad and I think wlad would take him out within 5 rounds. brewster came very close to doing it and he was out of shape and isnt nearly as accurate and crisp a puncher as wlad

I disagree with you, Liakhovich take take a lot more than it seems and come back strong 2 seconds later. This would be an extrememly difficult fight for Wlad.

That said, this fight will never take place because Don King always wants options and Wlad doesn't want to deal with King.

Liakhovich should fight somebody already, it just better not be ****ing McBride.
I totally disagree of serg giving wlad problems. serg is much more of a boxer than a puncher and wlad eats those types of guys up and spits them out. brewster was out of shape in their fight and got hit clean with everything serg threw. that gave the impression to many thats serg is a puncher when thats not true at all. light hitting meehan also almost put brewster out. serg only has 14 ko's against weak opposition. he doesnt have enough firepower and experience to beat wlad

hello? brewster was in poor shape in that fight and serg has been knocked out by light hitting mo harris. how people think serg has a good chance is beyond me. brewster and peter would have much better chances than serg if they rematched wlad

I agree. this should be a fight he should jump at. espescially considering those words serg or his camp had for him. only problem is will king have to many demands for wlad and his camp to accept?

Now that I think about it this is not all about Serge, there is the King factor and u know that King is a scum bag who has to use everyone he comes across and try to ge the most out of everyone, this is not the person Wlad would want to deal with but still lets make this fight happen...

Lewis was knocked out by Rahman too, it doesn't mean anything. You can't judge a fighter by the fact that he was knocked out by someone before, everyone can have a bad night for various reasons. I didn't notice Brewster being in poor shape that night either, he was working pretty good until 9th round, I believe. But like I said, Likahvich can take a good punch and delivers just as well, I think he would give Wlad trouble. Besides, Liakhovich can fight on the inside, which Wlad cannot do and is always having problems with.

I like the fact that Liakhovich is calling out IBF titlist Wlad Klitschko for a unification bout in November, but I don't think the fight will happen. Shannon Briggs is a more popular fighter in NYC (where the fight is happening) and as as result will draw a much larger audience than if Liakhovich was challenging Wlad.
