This is NOT true. The WBC withdrew their sanction of the fight when Povetkin tested positive - which is why Wilder left. Without the sanction, there was basically no world title at stake, so I'm not even sure why Povetkin would even want the fight without the belt - since they were paying Wilder a lot of money to do the fight in Russia

This isn’t true he got popped for a fat burner which is a ped he claimed was in a drink but it was a separate stimulant . If a drug that mimicking caffeine like Povetkin took is illegal so would be a substance that gets you to a Weight you want .

It should be noted Povetkin agreed to fight Stiverne anyway , the stimulant Stiverne took can also be a stamina performance more because it is burning fat through stimulation which raises blood pressure as well .

In the end Ortiz took actual steroids and had to forfeit his win with Kayode ,this is important because Wilder claimed he would never give him a title shot ,when Povetkin was cleared he still declined that fight . See things don’t add up with Wilder .

Povetkin SCHEDULED his wach fight AFTER the negotiation date. And then his manager went to the WBC convention when the new negotiating date wasn’t what they wanted. his b- sample was "positive", but he was eventually cleared because they proved that Povetkin was taking the Meldonium before it became a banned substance...something like that, which i I think is the reason Wilder lost the case
