O.K. but Stiverne was implicated for PED use in the Povetkin fight so it was cancelled. Wilder however took that fight . This would show impartial picking who he deems fit to fight or not .

stiverne got popped for an energy drink which i think is bs and i felt he was masking something else. povetkin got popped but a known ped like Ostarine that wasnt new like meldonium so they had no choice but to cancel it bc its a very popular ped he had in his system. meldonium was a new ped that had so many complications around it that it lead to over 1k russian athletes getting popped and it also lead to so many olympians su****iously dropping out of the olympics. they really didnt know the full extent of the ped at the time. thats why the wbc dragged its feet with his positive test for wilder. when he got popped vs stiverne, Ostartine was a big enough red flag that gave stiverne an out bc it was night before the fight.

This is NOT true. The WBC withdrew their sanction of the fight when Povetkin tested positive - which is why Wilder left. Without the sanction, there was basically no world title at stake, so I'm not even sure why Povetkin would even want the fight without the belt - since they were paying Wilder a lot of money to do the fight in Russia

The WBC heavyweight championship of the world was scheduled to be contested on May 21, 2016 in Russia. The Bout was Champion Deontay Wilder’s mandatory defense of his title against Mandatory Challenger Alexander Povetkin. The Bout was the result of a purse bid the WBC conducted and which promoter World of Boxing won.

This isn’t true he got popped for a fat burner which is a ped he claimed was in a drink but it was a separate stimulant . If a drug that mimicking caffeine like Povetkin took is illegal so would be a substance that gets you to a Weight you want .

It should be noted Povetkin agreed to fight Stiverne anyway , the stimulant Stiverne took can also be a stamina performance more because it is burning fat through stimulation which raises blood pressure as well .

In the end Ortiz took actual steroids and had to forfeit his win with Kayode ,this is important because Wilder claimed he would never give him a title shot ,when Povetkin was cleared he still declined that fight . See things don’t add up with Wilder .

Ortiz didn't test positive for their fight. Big difference and ridiculous comparison.

Except that's not true. Wilder refused to fight and was going home so WBC had no choice but to postpone the fight.

"Wilder and his team have been in Sheffield, England, for the past two weeks training and adjusting to several hours of time difference. They were scheduled to fly to Moscow on Sunday afternoon but did not board their flight and were making plans to return to the United States despite having not heard from the WBC on the matter, a member of Wilder's team told ESPN.com.

Hours after Wilder and his team skipped their flight, the WBC, having little choice with the titleholder preparing to return home, announced the fight was off and called it a postponement."

The WBC says heavyweight titleholder Deontay Wilder's defense against Alexander Povetkin has been postponed after the Russian challenger failed a drug test.

You're posting an ESPN article and I posted the WBC's official ruling, written by the WBC, that they withdrew the sanction of the fight.

This is the WBC's OWN words.

On May 13, 2016 VADA reported to the WBC that Alexander Povetkin’s anti-doping test that had taken from his April 27, 2016 sample pursuant to the WBC Clean Boxing Program yielded an adverse finding for the banned substance Meldonium.

In light of Mr. Povetkin’s adverse finding, the WBC took the following steps:

                  A. In order to preserve the integrity of the CBP and on the name of safety, lifted the sanctioning of the Bout, which resulted in the Bout being suspended;

Your ruling was in August. They postponed the fight in May because of Wilder refusing to fight and going home. They had no choice.

The WBC wrote "background" - they giving the background of the events from the point of the positive to test their ultimate decision.

It's in black and white. There is no getting around it.

I can post the court documents as well. Neither side contested the WBC withdrawing the sanction. The court battle was whether or not Povetkin still owed him the money since he blew the test.
