No, I think YOU have it wrong.
Fury cant complain that he is being slandered
without proving, without a reasonable doubt, that
Wilder's claims are untrue.
If Tyson initiates a lawsuit, the onus is on Tyson
to offer proof.
Not proof that Wilder said something about him,
but proof that Wilder's statements were unfounded.
"There are several things a person must prove to establish that libel has taken place. In the United States, a person must prove that the statement was false, caused harm, and was made without adequate research into the truthfulness of the statement. These steps are for an ordinary citizen. For a celebrity or public official, a person must prove the first three steps, and that the statement was made with the intent to do harm or with reckless disregard for the truth"
His own trainer (Jay deas), the commission, the video cameras from both networks, the doctors that were at the fight, the drug testing agency that conducted their tests before and after the fight, then all the excuses that he has listed...... makes him less credible. So you saying the onus is on Fury is laughable... Where would they even start from? The poisoned water? The costume? The referee? The disobedient trainer?
That isn’t Fury who came out with that? That was Wilder, you accuse someone of being guilty? Then prove that the person is guilty.
The police accuse you of DUI? They have to have proof that you were over the limit mate... Not sure which country you grew up in and how their law works but am sure that the way it works in most civilise countries.Comment

No, I mean the ones who have taken the time to look
at the images/videos. Not the ones who just brush-it-off,
with a laugh, without even bothering to look.
I guess laughing it off is easier than trying to offer
reasonable explanations gloves flopping around like that.
Here is a former, multi-time world champion, offering
a reasonable explanation for floppy gloves:

Are you aware that all of this happened in the first fight, and Wilder's allegations are about the rematch?Comment

That’s Wilder’s insecurities for all to see. If you are not underneath him licking his as* then you are a hater.
He had a problem with Paulie M for speaking the truth about his first fight with Fury, he had a problem with Jack Riess and Teddy atlas.
Even in the first fight he had an issue with Mayweather scoring the first 5 rounds to Fury. He really is a joke.Comment

Some people get caught up in emotions and they start listening and watching others, they don’t really have a mind of their own, so they use others mind or lack of to make a decision for themselves.
If I was one of those who backed Wilder beforehand, the moment I hear him talking and coming out with 5 different excuses, I would shut up and just back off that topic.
If the man involved in this sticks to one accusation or excuse then maybe he would look credible, but to come out with 5/6 excuses, accuse your own trainer of poisoning your water?
That would have been the hint from any educated person. But it seems Wilder like those who follow him, don’t see how dumb they look to the outside world (Of their own and their king’s bubble)Comment

Fury sues him for defamation.
The question then becomes - did Wilder have proof that his accusations were true?
If he didn't, then he had no right making them and is guilty of defamation.
That's the way it works.Last edited by kafkod; 11-11-2020, 06:50 PM.Comment

Um, I don't agree with this. If you are really that mad, take it out on Wilder in the ring. Wouldn't this do more to deny Wilder of everything he said?
Wouldn't the glory of beating Wilder that no longer has the excuses of having Breland, spiked water, someone from Wilder's camp watching the gloves being put on meticulously, a 40lbs costume being worn be better than saying you won't fight him now?
I can't honestly think of a better revenge for what Wilder said than proving once again you are as good as you say you are. Heck, I'd give Fury way more respect if he can pull it off a second time.
Deep down inside, I want to see if without any of those excuses if Wilder can pull through, that's all. If not, Okay, fair play to Fury then, he is the better man. I'm just curious what a back against the wall Wilder can do.Comment
