Wilder didn't do Fury any favors. He gave him a shot because he figured he could easily beat a suicidal lineal champion who had been away for two years, was a recovering drug addict, an alcoholic and who had ballooned up to 400lbs. In short, he was perceived as a lot easier to beat than Joshua, for a comparably big payday.

I can agree with Fury's sentiment if it's genuine. Wilder has failed to accept defeat to the better man and has gone out of his way to accuse Fury and his team of cheating based off some youtube videos he's been watching, so **** him for that.

Having said that, I saw another quote from Fury saying that Wilder's 'completely lost his marbles.' I thought, if he's the mental health advocate he claims to be then he should at least implore him to seek help instead of making dismissive comments about his mental state.

This should have happened anyway... There should have never been an immediate rematch. Wilder should move on earn a rematch.... He got a gift the first fight then got destroyed the 2nd.

This works in Wilder favor anyways.... After letting the rematch clause expire that was the perfect excuse to go back to the drawing board

Good call. Wilder should count himself lucky in this day & age its not ended up in court, any other fighter would likely sue the hell out of him.

I don't see the need for a trilogy anyway myself based on the first two fights. I'll be in a small minority when I say I'd rather see a rematch with Otto Wallin than Wilder.
I thought he did a lot of good stuff in their fight.

The second fight with Wilder was nothing short of a brutal beatdown. I can't really recall another top level fight being so one-sided in recent memory.

Al Haymon went from having all the HW titles in his stable after Ruiz shocked AJ to none in just over a year.
And he somehow convinced Wilder to turn down $100 million plus guaranteed and a shot at undisputed heavyweight champion to lose 5hat 0 for a fraction of that,
              Loyalty doe.

Difference being that Fury never blamed anyone but himself – he's openly admitted to being a coked-out headcase who got fat after being on top of the world following the Wladimir win, then picked himself up and made the comeback.

Wilder's doing the exact opposite, blaming others except himself for losing his biggest fight (or essentially losing 2 of them) and descending deeper into a negative spiral, rather than talking up how he's going to improve his fight game.

People have to understand that it's a privilege to fight the champ for their title. Talking noise is simply a psychological tactic, and in this case, the tactic has failed. Wilder shot himself in both feet.

Leave that *** bum to beg his way to a championship fight again. You broke his mangina and he’s crushed for life.

                      I can't say I blame Fury.
