If anyone missed it there is a boxing podcast on the BBC where they were present for the last conference call and heard Fury pleading with Shelley to "just give him a date"

Fury is unstable he needs to box.

If Al Haymon is petty enough to let this Fury-Wilder drama get in the way of making money on other fights and doing right by his other fighters, then he shouldn’t be in business.

From a distance however, he seems astute enough to not allow this to be the case.

Arum and Warren are twats but they have alot of experience between them with contracts ,if theyre saying its expired then id imagine they will have made sure that was 100% certain before talking to the press about it .

Fury should sew him for making all these false accusations why would you fight someone who accuses you of cheating so harshly and also why would he want to fight fury if he is convinced he cheated seeing as how he didnt cheat the same thing will happen again right because no one saw anything that was cheating so the same thing would happen again and again and again and again

Who they fooling with the "he helped fury out his dark times by giving him a shot" nonsense... ut was a cherry pick bargaining strategic move to get fury out whilst he was fat and out of shape and then up there worth in a AJ showdown. People forget that wilders team had reached out after furys first fight back with sefer seferi which was a complete circus act... cherry pick severely gone wrong...

This idea they have that Wilder gave Fury an opportunity... they're missing the fact that Fury gave Wilder a credible fight. He was never making the kind of money he has without Fury.

It's a two way street. Wilder has had two cracks at it and come up short twice. With his recent comments or doesn't seem like he'll learn anything new.

              Third fight won't happen.

The contract expiry date was extended because of the pandemic. Wilder's team might have got another extension, but they didn't even try. They just went underground and didn't say or do anything till the extended deadline expired and Fury sent a contract to Kabayel.

Contrast Finkel's attitude to Eddie Hearn's when Ruiz Jr was talking about refusing to fight AJ in Saudi: " If Andy doesn't stick to the terms of the contract he signed, it's going to cost him a lot of money"

Yep Steve Bunce spoke about this last week. This guys knows what’s up. They didn’t want the Fury fight. Now they are going to try like and pretend like they have a case or like they want the fight with this mediation BS. Why don’t you sue if they really had a valid contract? Or is it because the contract had actually expired?

Just listen to Warren last week and he wasn’t even bothered when lawsuit was mentioned to him.

It appears, as of now, that both Wilder and Fury were OK with December but not the networks. Wilder was not OK with the original date of July due to injury.

If anything, the pandemic has changed almost all schedules. This cannot be an exception. So, a fair mediation, in my opinion, is to allow Fury to have his fight and stay busy (because things have delayed a lot) and then fight Wilder at the earliest convenient date in March or whatever is OK with the broadcasters. Besides, it is unlikely Fury-Joshua will happen behind closed doors so that can happen in late summer at the earliest.
