And I still don't understand why some fools root for PBC - who are actually wasting this guys career, robbing him of his best years, and by extension the fans.

How is it that a P4P No1 contender cannot snag a meaningful fight in a talent stacked division?

To me it simply proves again - just like the Boston Tea party - politics comes first, then profits, then control, then GFYS.

Crawford ought to be fighting Spence, Thurman, heck, even Pac - but instead, he's been pitted against perennial underachiever Brook.

I hope Al Haymon is very pleased with himself. I'm sure he and Suliaman are toasting to the future of boxing (or lack thereof) as we speak.

I think TCs career has more to do with Arum than Haymon, Arum puts fighters in moth balls for financial reasons, its his way of milking their longevity and income.

Lol, actually the fact that you failed to mention a single name says it all.

Only good name on Loma's record is Garry Russel junior. The guy who fights once a year and never fights any elite opponents.

And Loma? Well, Loma lost to a 23 year old with fifteen fights.

Tell me, do you think the current version of Crawford would lose to a 23 year old with fifteen fights?

        I thought as much.

Loma didn’t just lose to any 23 yr old he lost to one of the best fighters today who happens to be very very talented.

Crawford has yet to face a guy like Teo yet he Crawford gets wobbled and or dropped in several of his last fights. The guy is grossly overrated and has a ****ty resume.

Lost to one of the best? Lol, is that what you said before the fight or did he suddenly become one of the best after he put egg on yours and Loma's faces?

I have the same feeling....it might not be against Kell but I dont envision a long career for Bud. Of course, if someone brings this up in 2025, and he is still around, then I was joking.

But when you think about it, every great fighter has fought fights where he was the underdog or at the very least, only a slight favorite...Ali, RJJ (admittedly, only Toney comes to mind) Pernell, Jcc sr, Floyd etc.

Look at every single title fight Crawford has. Are there any you would pick against him?

He is a talented guy, but he has also been matched well.

Again, he could look at Thurman, Porter, Manny, Danny, Errol.

These guys seem to find a way to actually fight entertaining, quality fights (sometimes on free tv) with each other.

Ones in which they arent overwhelming favourites.

The Salka fight was a little tough to justify, lol....But his level of competition is pretty much equal to the other guys, with the exception of Manny, and better overall than Crawford's. I know he has had some good luck with decisions here and there, but the competition was solid.

Dont see how Danny would fight anyone because hes consistently fought the Rod Salkas and whoever that guy with the teeth was...

Liam Smith is at least a top 10 contender. Not great, but competent. But beating Rocky Fielding for a belt pretty much sums up why titles have so little value anymore.
