This bonehead idiot has to be at or near the world record for most 2nd chances given a total thug loser. He definitely has some serious issues upstairs... and it's long since been proven those issues will stay with him for the rest of his life... and may even keep getting worse. Certainly wish there was a different story that could be told about him... but a train wreck is a train wreck... no other way to put it.

You still don’t get it. She was not awarded the money for simply accusing Broner. She filed a lawsuit against Broner and he failed to show up for the court date. For example, I’m accusing you of being a moron. I won’t be rewarded anything for that accusation. However, if I accuse you of being a moron, and a file a lawsuit against you for being a moron, and instead of answering the subpoena, you stay at your rental house and play video games, then I would win the lawsuit by default and I would be awarded damages. In your case, he would be considered a hollow victory because you don’t have any assets that we could seize. Get it now?Comment

And you do not see that procedure as a problem? The mere fact that you can accuse me and make me waste my time going to court and if I choose not to go because of your false accusations you get free money. If you do not see a problem to that then you are part of it. False accusations need to be punished not rewarded.Comment

With all due respect you were not involved in the case. I'm not an expert on law and court cases but I doubt the system is as loose as you're painting it. You have no idea how much evidence was presented to the judge leading her to a default decision of 800k. You're acting like some random chick off the street decided it might be a good payday to sue Broner if he doesn't show up and "look at that, what do you know it worked". Some cases can be dismissed outright for lack of evidence. Most lawyers won't even take a case, especially against a celebrity like figure, unless there's a decent chunk of evidence.
Furthermore, you're also acting like the girl sued for "oh whatever amount I can get that's still a lot" and the judge said "oh i know 800k, does that work for you?". The chick likely sued for millions, in other words she picked the initial number not the judge. The judge likely looked at the evidence and awarded an amount based on the number the accuser picked because Broner not showing up is like admitting the accuser is right and that he accedes to whatever monetary amount she requested.
And lastly getting a notice for a court date for being sued is not like a traffic ticket that just comes the mail. Broner was likely served a summons which guarantees he knew about the court date. And even if he still didn't show up, he can probably still appeal the decision if can show he had good reason for not showing up. But it doesn't even seem like he tried that.Comment

There’s no problem with that procedure. You’re also gonna be wasting your time and some money if you’re the accuser. If you’re the accused, you can avoid being charged 800k or any amount. All you have to do is to attend the court and contest accusations.
That woman wasn’t getting anything by accusations alone. It was Broner who helped her get what she wanted by sheer laziness and ******ity.
You can’t just accuse anybody and expect you can just get something back immediately without proving and winning and it’s also a waste of resource as I mentioned earlier. Which means, it’s not THAT EASY. Broner MADE IT EASY for the woman
