It’s sad bc these boards are wracked with racism. It was a good fight, if not an expected outcome, at least a spirited affair. Before the ko Leo showed no signs of really faltering, just got caught. You can make whatever excuse you want for the result, but it was a big win for tank and one that will catapult him into future ppv. Good fight, good night

True indeed tank didn’t respect Leo’s power, but Leo also gave tank the easy opportunity to counter his telegraphed combos. Vs a bigger fighter tank may slip and be more patient bs pressing the issue.

I think Loma wins, ironically because of how the Teo fight went.
Teo is much bigger than Gervonta, he will make 147 pretty fine IMO. Loma still managed to grind 5 rounds (7-5 for Teo being the average card) despite being outpowered and outboxed.
I think Tank brings less than Teo except power and Loma would beat him 7/8 rounds to 4/5.
He's not getting outboxed by Tank, Tank is there to get hit.
Gerv won't have this frame advantage. Loma is a bit taller than Tank, If Loma can withstand Teo's power, I think he can withstand and probaly control Tank's power.
And style wise, I think Loma is kinda wrong for Tank.
So I would think 75% Loma/25% Tank by KO. I don't see Tank winning a decision or leading on cards here.
But you can't count Tank out, that power and skills are something.Last edited by BillyBoxing; 11-01-2020, 07:54 AM.

At some point as fans we can ask some "even playing field" (shout out to his promoter).
It still was a cool fight, kinda feels bad for Santa Cruz, but hey, he signed the contract.

As a shorter smaller southpaw, I can't see at this point what Tank would do better than Loma. His footwork is kinda average, Teo(s footwork was spot on, and he would get tagged by a lightweight hitting like a welterweight, not by a guy who couldn't crack an egg at 126 like LSC.
Haney vs Tank is more intriguing.

He has to work on a better defense.
