Admittedly i was rooting for Leo but man that was a disgusting KO. I feel so bad for Leo. He fought his heart out. I know he asked for this fight but still disgusting to see him get KOd at a weight he’s not built for. Tank needs to start fighting guys his level. Teo vs Tank needs to happen soon.

Mikey made the same mistake, fighting above his class against Spence. Yet people want to criticize Golovkin for not moving up to fight Ward. Santa Cruz has demonstrated that punches in bunches beats Davis. Don’t get me wrong, he’s very exciting with his knockout power but boxing abilities they spoke of.....
I didn’t see, all I saw from the off was pot shots.
Statistics will show that if you keep throwing the same power shot then, one will eventually land and Davis relied on that and not boxing abilities as he would have been beaten on likely 10/12 scorecards based on 6 rnds of what we saw.

yeah at the end of the day he did ask for it. But it doesn’t change the fact that it’s overmatched comp. nothing changes that fact. Berchelt, Teo, or Loma. We need to see Tank against those guys.

No doubt, for Tank to be considered truly great, he'll have to face and defeat the top guys in his division. The mismatch against LSC is one reason that I didn't buy this fight.

At which point were the FMJ crew gonna show these boxing abilities he mysteriously has? I saw two things,
First thing, Santa Cruz boxed his fackin head off from start to finish and Davis couldn’t cope at all.
Second thing, Davis power got him out of trouble fortunately for the money machine but it’s only a matter of time Before a harder hitter cleans him out.

Reminded me of the night Errol bomber graham was on the brink of beating Julian Jackson until a single lucky shot got him out of trouble.

At the stoppage it was a lot closer than most people think.

The boxing gods were good to Davis tonight. Seemed like he found some respect Santa Cruz after the fight. He wasn't talking loud and calling out fighters.

P.S. I don't like Leonard Ellerbe but applauded him by whisking away Davis from Froid. It was the kids night not Mayweather's.
