That's not what happened at all. Bowe didn't duck Lewis His manager Rock Newman was involved and they had a gripe that Bowe had beaten the undefeated Holyfield and was supposed to face Lewis when Razor Ruddock somehow got into the mix to fight Lewis.

Bowe fought Holyfield 3 times and finally the last time KOd him . That's not a guy who would duck anyone.

The Belt that Bowe threw into the garbage was purely for the photographers and he took it out after the Press had got their pictures. There was more to it, Read up on it I'm sure it will be on the internet, but read an unbiased account, not one by Lewis himself who was always very biased towards himself.

If anything he's underrated. Not among informed boxing fans, but causals. Even if you don't think he's the best head to head fighter you absolutely have to have him in the top 5.
