Man I always lose when I do that?? Then pull a Fury and uppercut myself lol.

For me time is the hardest thing to find...

Treadmills and gyms just always stink to me and I feel like I'm breathing nothing but smelly ass and feet. Then u have the alward weirdos who just spend all day trying hit on chicks and out lift you.

I laugh it off because when I walk away a few mins later I see them taking the weights they just put on off.

True and it's not only the daily training, it's going to that painful place where the brain tells you to stop and embracing the pain. That's what I admired about Floyd and Andre, neither guy was a slouch in training.
Good luck with your training, it's persistence that counts (and having fun too).

Haha never hit myself shadow boxing but I have busted up my hands clipping a door frame with a wide hook. Almost KO'd my bathroom mirror too but I think that is a common one lol

I shadow box, work on moves and study fighters moves to improve that move , so If I go back to training fighters I have things to teach. Stopped coaching in 09 when my nephew dislocated his shoulder thought he was going to make the Olympics

Well obviously lol we only talking about the training, physical demanding part of boxing lol not even most people who train can hang in for a real full 12 rounder lmfao.

I usually feel slow, stiff/tense and with less snap on my punches when I start training boxing after a long layoff. Obviously my conditioning is also crap after a significant time away from boxing training.

I set up the punching bag in the garage when my gym was closed due to the pandemic as well.
