This fight makes no logical sense when you think about it for more than 60 seconds.
Not a damned bit of sense if you look at it from Pacquiao’s viewpoint. Pac fought a De La Hoya that had already been beat decisively by Floyd. That De La Hoya hadn't been a welterweight in 7 years.

Well, the last time Manny fought at 140 was over 11 years ago. Does anyone think Manny is ****** enough to repeat the mistake Oscar made?

This with other fights out there that will pay him much, much more than one with Teo?

I mean someone just mentioned Conor McGregor and (in addition to the fights I have already mentioned as bigger paydays than a Teo fight), it's definitely something Manny does before training himself to fight someone who isn't really big yet.

As far as passing the torch, there's two guys in Manny's own division who are proven better pound for pound than Teo- one of them a unified champion- and if any torch is to be passed that's who it should be passed to.

So true. Crawford and Spence both desreve the torch more than Teo. Plus Manny may not want to be the one to work with uncle Bob much. That is why i think he fights Winner of Spence-Garcia.

Grandpa PAC wipes the floor with Lopez.

Lopez has nothing Pac hasn’t been thru already.
        Even at age 42-43.

Blatantly ignoring what happened to Broner's career after moving up in weight too fast trying to cherry pick. It was a quick high then lower lows, difference is Broner was a draw but ironically like Broner, Lopez didn't throw many punches in his 1st big fight vs Loma so he'd look just like Broner did vs Pac..

Now that I think bout it Lopez vs Broner would be the fight to make if anything not Pacquiao vs Lopez..

                  Lopez

Lopez the junior welterweight barely beat an injured featherweight and this writer calls him a super star in boxing. This sight definitely needs better writers. Lopez has top fighters inthe 135lb division that will show you just how good he isn't. It's easy to win when yo have all the physical advantages Now fight someone your size or rematch

                    he becomes:
                    -undisputed at 135
                    -lineal at a new weight

                    If Teo wins:
                    -the guy who retires Pac
                    -beat a reigning welterweight champion
A fight for lineal unified(or is it undisputed?) Lightweight title and the WBA Welterweight title? going old school with skipping the middle divisions

PAC lands flush on this kid and he disintegrates.
