I have them 1-1 but both were close either way fights so I won’t argue with either decision.
But regardless if you had him winning both they were still close fights and far from “unstoppable”
Which has been the same story with the other two top fighters he’s faced in Jacobs and Derevenchko.
You could argue he lost to all 3.
Personally I had him beating Canelo and losing to Jacobs and Derevenchko but can’t argue with any of the decisions.Comment

lol. He didn't fight in 2016 but then fought him in 2017. Hey is Bowe vs Lewis still happening? Yeah GGG would've ''wrecked'' Canelo a year before sure...
GGG fans sad their idol didn't show up against Canelo, and they're content with his mediocre performance as well with his worst compubox to dateComment

I never understood why GGG fans actually try to justify his performance as a robbery. Moretti and Trella had it close. Too bad Moretti hadn't scored it 114-114. the GGG girls wouldn't have brought up Byrd since it wouldn't have mattered. I thought Moretti was being generous and GGG never won wide considering Canelo's tactics will be studied for generations from that fight!Comment

Competitive, yes. Did they only have one winner, yes. Can't get to 6 rounds for Canelo or Jacobs in those 3 unless you are giving them rounds they weren't in. When you outland a guy by about 50 punches, and in about 9 of the rounds (as GGG more or less did in those 3 fights), I mean the stats back up the story that were competitive but not close as far as scoring.
To put it this way, if GGG fought those guys' fights, and they fought his in those fights, no one who is saying they were close fights would be saying that now. They would be saying GGG got dominated and lost all 3. Which didn't happen, they were competitive. But the point is that a lot of people see red when they see GGG, they don't analyze his fights well at all.Comment
That’s a lie.
