He never does - Lomachenko never had a rematch clause in any of his fights. Many boxers don't. This was not a Teo specific decision.

I would say opposite about Teo. Loma never brags, never puts down his opponent, he even praised Teo a few times before the fight, yes he said he will hurt him if he can because in Eastern Europe it's very disrespectful and unusual to be dissing someone you dont know - so you have to pay for your words, its just how Ukrainian young culture approaches beef.

I never seen Loma be disrespectful to someone. That story about Teo's dad approaching nicely while tipsy is nonsense - he doesnt strike me as a guy that came out respectfully.

Can you name a few examples? And dont bring up Teo because Teo has been dissing Loma for a while so you cannot expect him to be nice to him.

Plus you can tell by the dads - One is quite and calm, one just talks smack all day and screams.

Rewatched the fight. It's at best a 7-5 fight.

Loma got 7-11

6 is dead even but i prefered Loma's creativity vs Teo's stand and wait tactic so I edged it to Loma. I have 6-6, OK with 7-5, wont debate 8-6.

This was not a blow out of any sort. In the latter part of the fight Loma won clearly, not the begging. But the begging was nothing special.

We need to stop acting like this was a blowout.

I agree 100%. I think Loma wins the rematch, but I agree that Loma should get in line and make mandatory.

Money is huge though - There is no other bigger money fight that Teo can take other than Loma at 135 or below.

Maybe Gervonta - what do you guys think? If Gervonta wins with style, which fight brings more money and viewership - Teo v Gervonta or Loma?
