There is a reason Loma had little in the tank in the 12th given as inactive as he was in the 1st half and it was the body work by Lopez.
Maybe. I don’t remember every round well enough to argue the point. And perhaps you’re right about the twelfth. On the flip-side, Lopez looked spent at the end of the eleventh, yet he found a second wind at the end. I was impressed by that perhaps more than anything else Teofimo did.

2nd you don't get to cherry pick the two p4p guys whose opinion supports your narrative and co-opt it into "anyone whose put on gloves". Particularly given the high number of pros who felt Lopez won clearly.
Enzo Mac had it a draw, too.

As did tons of other fighters.

The ONLY fighters that had it a Lopez "clear" win were the ones that predicted such. Their opinion is moot.

          There's no slant.

First of all, NSB whined anytime Floyd had an elbow up, so I don't want to hear that.

Second, You talk about Lopez's head not moving and dismiss the fact that the punch landed regardless. Glancing shots COUNT.

Third, Lopez was never the aggressor in Round 12. Ever. He stayed back, walked back, circled etc. Loma was constantly coming forward and never went backward except after a blocked punch.

Fourth, every shot called as blocked was clearly so. You can pause the video yourself and see it.

Lopez had 20 total seconds of excellent body work. The rest was smoke and mirrors. Doesn't mean he didn't still land stuff, but to make it seem like he was a dominant aggressor is a joke and you know it. A crazy amount of his stuff missed, was deflected, or straight up blocked. Same as Loma.

Which means it was a chess match and NOT decisive for Lopez like people say. They were so fast that shots looked like they connected that didn't. The video had to be slowed down to 1/4 because even at 1/2 it was still too fast.

Yes make it happen. Needs at least one more to see for sure who is better.

Lopez landed 183 to 141, thats an average of 3.5 more punches a round! Hardly what I'd call domination. Loma inflicted more damage on his opponent and his defensive skills were superior.

For Lopez to be truly 'undisputed' they need to go again.

So if a fighters prediction that Lopez would win dismisses their opinion, does that not dismiss Wards opinion as well. Again you can't cherry pick.

Also, if a punch lands so softly that it doesn't impact the fighter, why would it be considered effective in professional scoring? Its not a touch contest.

Bottom line is I. The 12th Loma landed next to nothing effective while Lopez landed the bigger shots including a body shot that rocked him.

He did! I saw him take a deep breath and bite down to finish the round.

Due to the bodywork I definitely think Lopez did more damage.

This is coming from a Lomachenko fan who thought he would win and had money on him.

I had it 7-5 for Lopez.

Lomachenko took a pounding to the body in that fight.

                    Loma

No rematch at least not for now. Give it 2 years. Loma has to earn his way back to the top
