No need, Lopez won clearly. Loma probably wants the rematch more than Lopez, but at this point Lopez can give the same courtesy Loma gave Salido.

Close enough fight for a rematch... Both guys shined in their own style at times and both guys had no answer for the other guy style at times too... They have to do it again...

No, Lopez won the twelfth easily. I don’t recall my round-by-round breakdown; but Andre Ward and Teddy Atlas, to name just two, also scored it a draw. I didn’t have a problem with the decision, as I thought if anyone should’ve been given the nod it should’ve been Teofimo. It was the scores that I took issue with. Julie Lederman’s 119-109 was disgusting, and 117-111 was terrible. The only decent scorecard was 116-112.

Here is a little blurb from Fight news, whose scoring closely matched mine: “All three judges gave Teofimo Lopez the first seven rounds, putting Vasyl Lomachenko into a deep hole he couldn’t dig out of.

We had Lopez winning 115-114, giving Lopez rounds 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 12. We gave Loma rounds 2, 8, 9,10, 11. Round 7 was even. On our card, the fight was up for grabs entering round 12 where Lopez dug deeper to win it.”

However you slice it, Lomachenko had some clear rounds, and not just the eleventh, which must’ve been the round Julie actually woke up to watch.

What’s that mean? Lol It’s Salido who refused to rematch Lomachenko, not the other way around. Siri won the fight. Lol

You have to wonder what the hell she was watching when Lope was getting tagged and cracked for 5 rounds straight.

We have to figure out the judging in this sport. There needs to be fines/punishments for such horrible cards.

You need to stop posting on here. Get better at understanding the sport, or stop posting. You pick.

Julie shouldn’t have given Teo rounds 8-10 but no one should give Loma rounds 2 and 7.

7 was closer than rounds 1-6 but still should’ve gone to Teo.

Round 2- is it fair to give Loma a round because he landed a combo near the end of the round? That’s the ray leonard BS late flurry wins you the round.

In the rbr I had it 8-4 or 7-4-1 (7th round even) being as generous as I could to Loma.

The judging has been a scourge since the Marquess of Queensberry Rules were initiated. I’m not sure how this age-old problem can be rectified, but it’s turned many a fan off to the sport over the years. Judging is, by its very nature, subjective, so there will often be disagreements over a round or two, but this shit?

There needs to be punishment/banning for certain periods of time when scorecards are that bad.

Practically no one in power cares. It’s happened, but it’s literally almost unheard of. The only time I believe I’ve ever known of judges being punished for their scores was Lara-Williams, where Lara was robbed on an epic level. I even wrote a complaint to the commission on that one. Lol
