Stank padded record is pathetic! Now he cherry-picking a smaller, past his prime pillow-fisted Lsc who has Zero kos in over FIVE yrs in a crap Ppv main event mismatch!! Sad A.Mares was the initial choice for Davis....gotta protect that 0! Could have fought Loma awhile bak - but per Floyd “Tank ain’t ready for Loma”...not until he is 40!! Lopez took Loma on with just 15 pro fights under his belt!

Leo has never been a power puncher in any division. He is and has always been a volume puncher, a lot of his kos and stoppages are just due to accumulation of punches and him overwhelming his opponents.

And tbf as your competition gets better ko ratios tend to go down.. how many kos has golovkin had against top fighters in recent years?

Ggg has recently fought fighters who haven’t been stopped before - Canelo/Deverenchenko/Jacobs- only once by top MW at the time in Pirog. No comparison to Lsc and his Zero kos in over five years. Lsc age, his ethnicity, and lack of power is why he was chosen for this Ppv mismatch.

Exactly. Neither Lomachenko nor LSC are natural 135lber. And both are great fighters in their own right even if you consider that Lomachenko is the greater of the two. This is still a pretty good fight at 130.

Having said that, boxing is not exclusively about punching power. And in order for LSC to become proven he has to fight top fighters. I don’t think this is a trash fight. He barely knocked Gamboa out on a bad foot. Wouldn’t be surprised if this is competitive. Wouldn’t be surprised if Leo gets stopped cuz he does get hit a bit. That’s why they fight the fights.

Davis SHOULD have fought Tevin Farmer when he was hot. That would have been a solid name on his resume in a grudge match but of course he let that get flushed down the toilet. This is where criticism is reserved in my opinion.

And that's exactly my point, there is a reason golovkin also didnt get kod either. Kos are not a common thing when top fighters fight. As your level of competition goes up the kos tend to go down..
