All parties agreed to extend the fight which means that the contract remains intact, thats a very simple fact that won't change.
Fury didn't inform anyone because Fury as well as Wilder were both told the fight will be pushed back again from October to December 19 in hopes of being able to sell tickets. Arum began looking into the Raiders new stadium for the purposes of social distancing. 20k fans in a 50k stadium.
It was Arum who said both Fox and ESPN want to move off the date due to college football however, in his last 2 interviews Arum has only mentioned ESPN wanting to move and has not mentioned Fox since his initial statement 2 weeks ago.
Wilders team has already said last week that they expect the fight to go on as scheduled. In the article that connects to this thread Arum clearly said ESPN wants to reschedule and has not one single time said that Wilder or PBC wants to reschedule off December's date.
Wilder is in training and has been in training since the 3rd week of May. In fact Wilder fired Breland from his training camp, an article which confirmed Wilder is in training for the Fury fight, which was fist posted on this very site.
So to recount, damn near everything you said was a lie, non factual, erroneous at best. I dont understand how people can come on here and out right lie as if articles don't exist. Simple Google disproves your entire post.
Arum has 50+ years of contract law experience and he's been saying that the rematch clause was void since October so I'm inclined to believe him. Also, PBC has multiple lawyers on their payroll and I guarantee Wilder has at least one lawyer on his team so there is no way in hell they'd go this long without filing a lawsuit if the contract was still enforceable.
The original contract called for a fight in July and it expired in October so it's legally impossible for them to move the date to December 19th unless they had written consent from Fury. Also, Fury has been saying for weeks that he won't wait until 2021 for the rematch, so I'm sure he made that clear to Arum and Warren before he agreed to reschedule the Wilder fight.
Both Fox and ESPN would lose money if Wilder vs Fury 3 doesn't do well so Fox has just as much incentive to avoid a conflict with conference championship games as Arum and ESPN. Also Fox and PBC have numerous spokespeople and attorneys so I'm sure they would've made it abundantly clear if Arum lied about their mutual desire to move the fight away from December 19th

Everyone is so concerned and worried about wilder now?
Now folks are begging for him to do media and to say something? For what? What will that do for you?
Man took a licking and got humbled
All he can do now is go back to the drawing board and tend to his family, amidst a pandemic and all
It’s refreshing to see folks go quiet like Lebron would do with his “zero dark thirty” in previous playoff seasons
If wilder was still out about doing press, he would probably just get a bunch of negative comments and questions, so who does it serve now to do media?
He needs to focus on his work, and if he bows out the game, so be it!
In fact I would be interested to see what happens to the division from a marketing standpoint if he bows out, seems like wilder is the only one that made it exciting
This is a global sport of course, but, Will the USA be hyped for an afternoon joshua fury fight in Saudi Arabia? Did Ruiz and Joshua in SA have a big buzz here?
Like it or not, there’s having a Wilder in the mix
Have some respect and stop whining about his absence
