My picks were Rivas, Kabayel & Hunter. I figured Hunter would be the guy they would choose but I forgot Rivas & Kabayel are co-promoted by Top Rank. Too be honest if the Joshua fight can't be next I would rather see the trilogy fight with Wilder. In my opinion only there is unfinished business there. Sure the 2nd fight Fury dominated but I had the first fight 7-5 Fury with the 2 KDs making it a draw. I want to see if Wilder can regroup & come in throwing bombs from the opening bell. I would hope he comes in lighter (around 212-215 like the first fight) & doesn't wait for Fury to get going. It is his only chance in my opinion. If he can hurt Fury early it may slow him down or even allow him to land that finishing blow. He has the power & dropped him twice before so I won't count Wilder out yet. The patient waiting game he displayed in many of his bouts won't work with Fury & he knows that now. He needs to jump on him early. Fury is too big & too skilled not to wear down Wilder over the long haul.

I'm not sure I want to see Fury fight Takam but it is what it is. I would rather he fight Kabayel than Takam because Kabayel beat Chisora who KO'd Takam.

Now folks are begging for him to do media and to say something? For what? What will that do for you?

Man took a licking and got humbled

All he can do now is go back to the drawing board and tend to his family, amidst a pandemic and all

It’s refreshing to see folks go quiet like Lebron would do with his “zero dark thirty” in previous playoff seasons

If wilder was still out about doing press, he would probably just get a bunch of negative comments and questions, so who does it serve now to do media?

He needs to focus on his work, and if he bows out the game, so be it!

In fact I would be interested to see what happens to the division from a marketing standpoint if he bows out, seems like wilder is the only one that made it exciting

This is a global sport of course, but, Will the USA be hyped for an afternoon joshua fury fight in Saudi Arabia? Did Ruiz and Joshua in SA have a big buzz here?

Like it or not, there’s having a Wilder in the mix

Have some respect and stop whining about his absence
Wilder wasn’t known until AJ came around and then Fury got him his first PPV . Wilder made boxing exciting ? How , he stopped a bunch of guys no one wanted to see him fight and ran fro undisputed on 3 separate occasions with AJ in two years time ? Openly admitted he lost his pen when he got the contract he asked for ? If this excites you have at it, I’d prefer the guys actually defeating top competition or at least trying to unify belts . Ha

As good as you can expect for an optional on short notice. Meh. But better than staying idle. Covid has messed everything up

This would be true if Wilder only fought U.S guys . I don’t think it really matters in boxing all sorts of opponents from other countries fight each other .

That being said Wilder for me was more the Barclays champion fighting select guys from PBC more then showing world champion mentality . People harped on A.J but he defended his titles outside the U.K , Wilder never defended outside Barclays or Staple Center but a few times I think ?

Nothing to do with Dillian. I was just making the point that Rivas and Ajagba are not better than Takam and Kabayel.

Kabayel is undefeated and ranked higher than either of them, I believe. Ajagba is also undefeated, and he certainly looks the part, but he's more on the level of a sparring partner for Fury than an opponent.

I would favor Rivas over Takam . At least at this point .

Bob Arum isn't going to do shit. He is the major reason why the Wilder/Fury rematch clause has lapsed in the first place. Unless, he is willing to pay Deontay Wilder a very large sum of set aside money; Then I would advise him to go back to the bargaining table and work out a deal that is going to be satisfactory and practical for all parties involved.

Um! Excuse me, Mr. Arum but Deontay Wilder is still looking for his date and venue for the trilogy bout. Bob Arum is a shrewd businessman. The last thing he would want is to spend $millions in legal fees in court over this fight. He needs to make a deal and resolution with Team Wilder because this case could be tied up in the courts for several months or even years.

                      It'll be Agit.
That's the top rank diet right there.
But I'd rather have Martin who's taller or a Wallin rematch. Someone a of least comparable height to Aj than hobbits like Takem or Rivas, they make no sense.
