Looks like Lopez is going to 140, so it is going to be difficult for Lomachenko to get a rematch etc

It should really be standard to have a rematch clause, bad management of Lomachenko's end.

Note: I have no idea who is promoting Lomachenko 'No expert on his career'.

Not having a rematch clause was extremely arrogant and very bad business.

Every aspect of team Loma- management, trainers, fighter- failed when it came to this fight.

Added to that, Loma gave up money to make this fight happen.

Perhaps Loma needs a whole new team behind him.

U can tell he didn't like the crowd reaction after he beat Maidana. Floyd was a true champion

Damn I forgot all about that..... Adding up everything it's look bad but also gives more reason for Lopez to give a rematch. Loma really did him a favor. But if he chooses not to oh well

I don’t think Teo owes him anything just because Loma’s team didn’t do their jobs properly.

If he put a rematch clause they would say he isn’t confident enough, that’s why he wanted a rematch clause. These guys are the worse possible thing that ever happened to boxing fans, the fact that any boxing fans would even follow these morons should how limited some are on this forum.
Loma's always been a class act and an amazing fighter. I think a lot of boxing people realize the guy is a once in a lifetime fighter and anyone whose been lucky enough to get a ticket to one of his fights will brag to his grandkids about it.

Low Tech Loma is finished. Fight wasn't even competitive. Loma left the stage for good as a sore loser.

                  Good riddance.

Lopez can make out golden on this. Take the W and run with it. He can always say that he beat the guy who was up there in the argument for #1 pound for pound, and Loma can't redeem himself.

And make no mistake, despite many claims that a rematch would be pointless and that Lopez would unquestionably win again, that is not true.

Could Lopez win again? In even more dominant fashion perhaps? Sure. But Lomachenko could just as easily win the rematch and redeem himself in impressive fashion. That 3 round stretch or whatever in the back half of the fight where Lomachenko was teeing off on Lopez at will is proof that's possible. And for all the talk around here that Lomachenko was just a hype job fraud -- he may have been overrated but he's still an elite boxer. Of course he could win a rematch.

I can only imagine that it was overconfidence that Loma would win, thus the reason for no rematch clause. That was a disastrous mistake in hindsight because I don't believe Lopez will ever give him (Loma) an opportunity for redemption.

He's going to take that W and never look back.

Mike, you are forgetting that after round 11 he was so tired that he almost didn’t survive the 12th.

That late headbutt was done imo to keep Teo off him.

I think we need to look at this like a Forrest/ Shane situation.
