When Floyd denied Manny a rematch for the EXACT same reason, NSB called him a coward who was afraid of risking a loss.

The difference is, Floyd was initially at least willing to consider it until Manny started making excuses while Teo wasn't even open to considering it - like Marquez after the 4th fight (except there was no sketchy scorecards there).

So? You cannot win with boxing. Arrogance? If he force a clause on it like Eddie Hearn, some of you guys would still cry. He was the A side going into the fight. And he didn’t use anyone of his privileges to A side Lopez, no weight draining, no rehydration clause, no rematch... But you guys would still cry. He should be applauded for it. If he put a rematch clause they would say he isn’t confident enough, that’s why he wanted a rematch clause.
