No feeling out rounds... just two super high level fighters going at it until one gets the KO... unless they both prove to have granite chins.
Respect your opinion but I think you are missing what happened Saturday.

Had Loma fought from round 1 like he did rounds 8-11 he likely gets stopped.

Tessitore and Ward did fans a disservice by not talking about the impact the fight was having on Loma.

As he threw more he got hit far more than we were used to seeing. He looked like he was in survival mode during the early rounds.

Then the 12th he had to headbutt to keep Teo off him because he was so tired.

I think maybe we need to accept that the big LW are too much for Loma.

Frankly, a rematch might look more like Zahir Raheem/ Eric Morales .

The fight was not close that’s the problem i had it 116 112 lopez is surprising that I hear some people calling a robbery even some former champions saying Loma won I’m shocked this fight was not hard to score at all team Loma didn’t want a rematch clause because they were confident they didn’t need because they thought just like the rest of the world that he was going to put on a masterpiece on lopez but teo shocked everybody with his boxing skills and IQ and out box and beat Loma at his own game if they fight again I think teo stops him

I ok with a rematch but down the road. There are some compelling fights for Lopez vs young, hungry guys that I'd like to see first.

My point, however, is that Lopez did not win his crown in thoroughly dominating fashion. There IS lingering doubt on whether he is better that Lomachenko.... Does a more fired up Lomachenko white wash Lopez (rounds 8 to 11) or does this just draw Lomachenko into eventually getting knocked out?
I am able to understand that at most Loma could had gotten a draw. He simply let too many rounds go by.

I don't have any doubt. That said Loma is a big name with 2 losses still so I think it's likely to happen at some point, but I'd rather see some Teo vs Tank or Teo vs Devin fights next.

I agree with everything you say here. But that's why I WANT to see a rematch lol. Loma fighting like rounds 8-11 from round 1 gives the fans a GREAT fight...If Loma get KO'd fine, let the warrior at least an OPPORTUNITY to get his revenge... If Lopez is simply too big for him, then fine, that's that... But given how close fight was... how Lopez didn't exactly dominate him... You can't say that a rematch isn't warranted just because Lopez is probably too big for him.

Plus, knowing both are TR fighters... We probably don't even need to beg for a rematch.... Arum gave us THREE Manny-Bradley fights and Bradley clearly got dominated in their first fight.

Those are both great fights, but I'd rather get the Loma-Lopez rematch first and settle things once and for all and then let the winner clear out the rest of the division...

Plus, it will be much easier to make the rematch then getting Floyd and Arum to work together....

Excellent point but if Loma loses 2 in a row then His career is in trouble. Look at what happened to dogboe?

Yeah but that 1st manny Bradley scorecard was a Bobbery if you get what I’m saying.

We all wondered why bob paid Tim so much. We found out. Lol.

If Loma fights like he did in round 8-11, he stands a good chance of getting KO'd.... But Lopez didn't impress me that much... He was able to neutralize Lomachenko's usual high punch output... But he wasn't able to land a lot on Lomachenko either. I also saw some stamina issues in the later rounds with Lopez when he was getting peppered by Loma... The question is... Can lomachenko keep up that pace from round 1 in the rematch without getting knocked out in the process?

im usually not for immediate rematches

i would prefer to see teo v another good opponent and loma v another good opponent and if they both win then a rematch with crowd etc, much bigger night

but im not sure if teo is moving up or not, he keeps changing his mind!!
