He has no one to blame but himself and his fans should stop whining.
Great post. I know you and I talked about all this before. Kudos for not making any excuses.

He's clearly not as good as many of us thought he was. Lopez wasn't doing anything that crazy and Loma still had absolutely no answers

I'm glad Loma didn't fight Tank, right now he'd probably be fighting for his life. Against African American fighters you just don't box if you are mediocre, lomachenko is a great dancer and a great 'wall board' hitter and he's also good at holding his breath under water for a long time but that ain't enough to beat good fighters.

One cant compare a 14 month layoff by a 32 year old who depends on his timing , agility and fast, onexpected footwork moves, to a 10 month hiatus by a 23 year old, who would just take it in his stride. Any 23 year old... Sneering at a beaten opponent is not what a real sportsman would ever do.
Loma wasn't a good sport after the fight when Lopez tried to hug him. Even after the result Lopez went up to him again and tried to give him a hug and Loma just stood there motionless without saying anything and quickly left the ring straight after.

When I saw that I realized that Loma has probably always been that way with Lopez/his father which is why they don't like him. They show him respect and all they get in return is a blank stare.

I'm also glad that he didn't fight Davis, after seeing that pathetic attempt at fighting. Davis is the best body puncher in boxing too. Gervonta will show Loma how to do it right.

I keep hearing people talking about size difference. I didn't see no significant size difference at all.

What were their fight night weights? Let's get the facts straight here.

There was no height and reach advantage for Lopez, so I can only assume that people are talking about weight.

If so, then let's see the evidence.

              What was the weight difference?

We know Mayweather weight 150 to Canelo's 165 on fight night, we know he was 148 to Maidana's 165.

But what was the weight difference in this fight? Are people just sucking it out of thin air?

I think both were at 150 or higher. I remember Crawford weighing at 156 on fight night when he was at 135 (maybe the Gamboa fight, not sure).

Loma looked the bigger, more compact fighter. When he fought someone his size and more skilled, he could do no crap.

I said it all along, Loma hadn’t faced the power, speed, size and skill Lopez possesses all rolled into one man. Loma was able to steamroll guys who only had one or two of those and lacked the others. Loma was scared s hitless to let his hands go pretty much after the first round, you could clearly see it in his face in the corner too.

Something about Loma rubbed me up the wrong way. I can believe Teo saying Loma is just a diva.
And actually if you watch that Thurman v Pac fight, it was a lot closer than some may remember. Right man won though.

That’s why I think Thurman got respect, because you know inside If you lost the fight, even if it’s a competitive fight.
