This is very accurate. Loma was basic because he wasn’t punching for 7 rounds. But when he was actually fighting his fight he had Teo in a blender at some points and it was a good solid showing.

Loma not punching is because of the firepower Lopez was sending his way, so he deserves to talk his **** right now. I just don’t think basic is the right word here.

0 or just 1 powerpunch till round 7. He dug his own grave. He was just banking one point plan, that Lopez would gas and when that dint happen it was over..
Go back to 130 and unify..

Sometimes you can be too smart and too good for your own good. This is what happened to Loma. I still don't think Lopes is a better boxer than Loma, but he won fair and square and it simply wasn't Loma's night. In some ways it reminds me Klitschko- Fury fight.

This is what happens when a fighter gets over hyped by fighting over matched opponents. Then they fight someone of their caliber, and omfg what happened? This is what happens when good fighters fight against other good fighters.

Teo is talking 140. There are savage beasts there. Lomo is a nice stepping stone for bigger fights. I can name 5 off the top of my head. Zapeda, Taylor, Ramirez, Barboza, and Ritson.

Lopez was countering him with straight rights and uppercuts anytime Loma stepped in. Loma didn’t wanna be hit with those monster shots so stayed in his shell until he had no choice but to start engaging.
