Bro, I have caught this in my own desire to contain bias. It is the real urge to give a fighter a round because they did better than the previous round. The opposite is when we don’t give a fighter a well earned close round because we believe he is already losing the fight.

Watch round 2 it wasn’t even close. Was surprised when a FH of F like Andre Ward did the same thing. I believe he let his faith Romanticize his score card.

In my opinion it wasn’t Julie Lederman it was Andre Ward who had the worst card of the night. What’s more believable 119-109 or 114-114? That was clearly not a Draw.

Greenk for this. As bad as Julie's card was, Ward's was even worse. No way in hell this was a draw when Loma clearly loses rounds 1-6 and round 12.

Yes that’s true. I can understand Loma fighting that way for 2-3 rounds to get a better grip on distance and Lopez’ speed and timing etc but it’s bothersome that he fought that way for the first half of the fight in a huge marquee fight. He had no willingness to try to land shots and win rounds and it does make one wonder if he was too nervous about Lopez’ power early in the fight

Yes you should have recieved a draw at the least. Not all Americans belive in top ranks judges. More times than not it's fixed. This was a very direspectful outcome. Even on an off night Lomachenko should have not recieved a loss. By losing the 12th rd only should have resulted in a draw.

And let's be honest, last night the commentators kept talking about Lopez big fight experience, how Loma had big fight experience and Lopez did not. Hate to break it to everyone but Loma had championship fight experience but this was Loma first big fight as well, tell me about a big fight Loma has had? This was Loma biggest challenge as well, Loma is talented no doubt, but his career has been carefully put together by Bob after he lost to Salido (a fight he never avenged I might add) point is Loma has looked good against decent competition but the 2 times he stepped up he has lost, so I think we could agree maybe Loma was put on a pedestal and a bit overrated.
Fighting with Gary wasn't match making, an Salido never wanted the smoke again...we have to say it as it is, do you really believe Salido would have won, if they fought a 2nd time?

When Loma started to actually fight, it was a completely different story. Teo was in trouble several times. Ward and Bradley were commenting how Loma is going for the KO (in 10th or 11th IIRC). He did beautiful, clean work, significantly outlanding Teo and getting the better of every exchange.

The punch stats make absolutely no sense.

If the referee didn't intervene in the 12th, Loma may have kissed the canvass
Teo was so into the fight, I think I heard him yell "come on"
