I was one of the biggest Loma fans. If he moves back to 130, I won't watch him again.

If he fights anyone but Lopez next at 135, I won't watch him again. If he loses again to Lopez, I won't watch him again. This was a shameful display tonight. Like the loser in most the recent big fights lately, he did the exact opposite of what he told his fans he would do. Like, if he was purposefully trying to trick his fans out of their money, he couldn't have pulled it off better, acting one way but fighting the complete opposite.

Lomachenko has hurt every single fighter he's been in the ring with in his entire career, including and especially at 135. That's the kind of underrated power he has. But he throws barely any punches the first half of the fight vs Lopez supposedly because of Lopez's power. What about his own power? And now wouldn't you know, the younger, english speaking, American-Hispanic, trash talking Lopez, a boxing promoter's dream, wins all the belts in one night.

Before the fight, everyone said "Lomachenko by decision or TKO, or Lopez by KO." Instead, Lopez wins by decision. How come? Because Lomachenko threw no punches. Yet before the fight, everyone said "Lomachenko is the combination puncher, volume puncher, Lopez is the pot shot counter puncher." Then in the fight, Lomachenko throws career low punches, and Lopez throws, I'm guessing, career high punches against, by far, the best opponent of his career.

Oh and just for the cherry on top, the, who knows, 1000th ranked fighter on the planet, Nakatani, performed equal or better vs Lopez as Lomachenko. "But he's tall tho." Yeah, that totally explains it! If only Floyd Mayweather and Canelo Alvarez were tall, they'd be good at boxing! Oops... they're American and Mexican cash cows, so this doesn't apply to them. But for Loma, this is supposed to explain why he and Nakatani are equals at lightweight.

Forget about who you wanted to win... does anyone else get the impression we all just got played?

As I told you guys many times, Loma was a hypejob. They had you fooled. He was made to look befuddled by a young gun tonight, as I've also been saying since 2017.

    Loma was not special.

Loma isn’t god, I went with giving Lopez credit than putting everything on Loma not performing. Lopez talked the talk and walked the walk, he beat two formidable boxers back to back. Commey and Loma, when boxers who are older than him and more experienced than him ran from challenges.

In respect to Loma he can stay at 135 if Lopez moves up, seek for a rematch if Lopez wants to grant him one, if he moves down to 130 he has good challenges there which can help him back on his journey, isn’t he like 32? So he isn’t old old... But his reflexes, gym wars and years of boxing meant he would be slowing down quicker now, he has never been a power puncher, so he cannot use one KO power to get out of jail.

Lopez knows, like Loma did, that Davis is the guy to beat at 135. Lopez exposes nothing. Keep watching.

What Loma is not is a 135 fighter his best is 126-130 , thats why he was shut out tonight, Teo is too big and strong and a great fighter in the making.

When they are little guys the weight means a lot more than in higher divisions, Teo was in great shape and a division bigger fighter Loma couldnt do anything. Being a great fighter allowed Loma to not get stopped .

I dont know about special but a hell of fighter all the same just out gunned tonight and he looks to lost a step over his last couple of fights .

I have followed Lomachenko since he won Olympic gold medal and Val Barker trophy in Beijing 2008. He should absolutely go down to 130-126. He is to small to be fighting in 135, he don't have the frame and already has a short reach. Fighting fast athletic fighters that are 1-2 weight divisions above you with massive reach advantage are not easy. The blueprint to beat Loma was made by Linares and you could see against Campbell that Loma is to small for the division. The other fighters are very dehydrated in weigh in's while Loma look the same.
Lopez said it himself, Loma are to small for that division and he has looked sluggish/ not the same. Respect for Loma for daring but he should have taken a oage out of Floyd's book. More safety and make fighters fight at his best weight

Special enough for tank’s people to avoid him like the plague.

The guy to beat is the guy with the belts. I wonder if tank will swerve Lopez like he did loma. I bet they’re upset that Lopez got him first...they waited too long for the “right time”.

It was never about the right time. At least Davis can now try to beat the crap out of Loma's conqueror. Who you picking? Belts mean nothing as the franchise **** demonstrates in this very fight.
