Face it, bro. GBP has been putting in the better work during that time.
Excuse the PBC? Huh? Downplaying GBP? Huh?

    Are you having trouble reading?

I give GBP plenty or credit for building their young stable. They have some very good and well respected people working at that company. However, being an elite prospect does not guarantee a fighter becoming a star. That is a faxt.

What also is a fact is that Spence was built into being a star with the PBC, not GBP.

That's all. Stop trying to twist the arguments into something they are not.

      What do you mean "huh?"

You say it's ok that the only stars PBC has have Golden Boy ties. Because they've only been around since 2015.

But Oscar has been well on his way to building more fighters since 2015.

That shows that GBP knows what they are doing. PBC not so much. (outside of their one, Tank Davis.)

If you want to argue that GBP knows what they are doing more than PBC, that is fine. That's not something I was arguing.

However, GBP has not built a star themselves. Garcia is on his way to being a star and is a social media star, but he hasn't proven it box office wise. None of his top gates are even CLOSE to Tank's gates. And Ortiz Jr has headlined how many cards? He's not a star yet either.

The only stars right now that are able to do 2M gates anywhere stateside and sell PPVs are Pacquiao, Canelo, Wilder and Spence. Fury can be added to the list but when he fights non-Wilder opponents, he actually fails to hit a million gate. But put him in against a solid name and he will hit that number easy so he's a star. Davis is a star in terms of gate sales but we shall see how many PPVs he sells vs LSC. I think he will do just fine but he needs to prove it first.

So by the definition of "star" fighters, GBP does not have one themselves minus Canelo.

But let's credit GBP for Spence being built into a star for fighting on Sho Box and FS1 cards L-O-L.

          Fair enough.

Spence's first 15 fights or so were on GBP undercards. I'm certainly not going to give PBC credit for building him up from scratch.

Spence had not headlined one card when he was fighting on GBP aside from Sho Box cards. He became a star and established after the PBC was formed. With the help of fighting on terrestrial television and then getting promotion from the Cowboys were the keys in making him a star.

Again, damn near all of PBC big names turned pro before 2015 so of course they would have fought on GBP cards since that is where Haymon was sending his fighters.

I didn't say Spence headlined. Just that he got exposure for 15 fights on GBP undercards.

Again, PBC didn't build him up from scratch.

I mean sure, but that's because that's who Haymon was working for. GBP did very little, if anything for Spence.

But then GBP has not built a star themselves in over 15 years since Canelo only became a star because of Mayweather.

How many fighters has Haymon been able to develop on his own since leaving Golden Boy?

You tell me how many PBC/Haymon have built.

I'm pointing out Spence was built into a star with PBC.

But you agree that Canelo was built into a star off fighting on Mayweather undercards and fighting him?

                      Just answer the question.

How many for Haymon/PBC on their own? Without Golden Boy?
