I'm of the view that he is basically at the end of his career and even though he was just on the receiving end of one of the most monstrously humiliating beat downs of all time, he can't take too big a step down in quality of opponent.

Nobody wants to see it anymore. Very few anyway. Look what happened in both fights: Fury outboxed Wilder then just straight whooped him, slugged him, knocked him down multple times even with a body shot. There is no way Wilder can win.
