How Covid-19 saved Wilder from another beating in July. Now, his management are trying to push it to 2021 so Wilder can recover from the whopping.

Good luck with that Bob. Just remember that you won't make no money either if the trilogy fight doesn't happen. However, that is for a federal court to decide.
There are both extenuating and mitigating circumstances on why it expired. So Team Wilder can successfully sue on those grounds.
If not, then what happens when AJ KOs your boy; Then what's next? Eddie Hearn will then rule the heavyweight division and he that rules the heavyweight championship runs all of boxing.Comment

Once Fury's licenses are reinstated in the U.K. Then there would be no more need for a Top Rank or an ESPN or a Bob Arum to promote his fights. I think that Frank Warren would do just fine without him. He only Used Bob as leverage for the Wilder fight.
Now Frank can manage things all by himself now in the U.K. As he no longer needs Bob's help.Comment

I said enforce the rematch clause, not just activate it. Like Eddie Hearn did when Andy Ruiz said he wasn't going to fight AJ again unless it happened in the States. Hearn hit Andy and Haymon with a legal suit and forced them into line.Comment

The Gypsy-Bum Tyson Fury has once again weaseled his way out of honoring a rematch class with a long reigning champion. As even Bob Arum ( Tyson's promoter' ) mentioned, they advised Tyson on waiting a mere two more months, January or February, so this coward Gypsy-Clown seen his opportunity to skeet and off he went.
IS THIS THE ACTIONS OF A TRUE CHAMPION I ASK THE BOXINGSCENE?! This is the only way that the fraud can get a legit title defense against another bum of his choosing.
I believe your mental health issues
are getting worse since you are unable to come to terms the ass whupping, or maybe your hormone therapy is causing this? Nevertheless you are the biggest BUM on Boxingscene period.Comment

Guarantees were $4 million Wilder and $3 million to Fury. The 3rd rematch had no such guarantees beyond the mention of a 60/40% split. At the time, Shelly Finkle and Al Haymon were certain that Wilder would win the rematch and insisted that a possible 3rd fight would need to conclude by July 2020.
Because of the virus Shelly Finkle requested the fight be postponed to December 5th 2020 to which all parties agreed. Unfortunately no one had checked with the network because Fox rejected the idea claiming that they did not want to compete with collage games that week. Shelly Finkle is now trying to move the fight date for a 3rd time to January or February of 2021.
Keep in mind, the original due date set by Shelly Finkle and Al Haymon was missed. The second date was also missed and the attempt underway to reschedule is far beyond the agreed upon terms of the original contract and very likely unenforceable.
Tyson Fury has no obligation to fight Wilder 6 months after the original expiration date, a date set by both Shelly Finkle and Al Haymon.
The 14 and 10 million was what they got in the first fight.
The rematch clause for the trilogy did indeed guarantee a 60-40 split, but there were minimum guarantees involved just like the first and second fight.
Think about it, the first thing you ask negotiating the clause is "60% of what?"
I agree with you that Wilder or his team should respond aggressively to these developments.
But, I will say that Haymon rarely gets out maneuvered legally and has already kicked Arum's ass in court several times.
I don't think this will be much different.Comment

The problem here is that Tyson Fury is willing to fight in December 2020, it's team Wilder that can't make the date.Comment

The amount was actually $24 million dollars total split $14 million to Wilder and $10 million to Fury. The Rematch clause did not guarantee amount just that the winner would receive 60% and the loser 40%. That said, if Team Wilder wanted the fight in December and Team Fury balked, Fury would be in breach of their contract.Comment

Either way, you're explaining exactly why Bob's public statement is useless. Should PBC take them to court, they would likely lose as Bob has stated on multiple occasions that the fight was delayed past the contractual date due to the money he as a promoter and the networks would lose on the fight.Comment
