One of the best ? Not so sure about that Mike was a killer counter puncher and would eat anyone alive not working behind an active jab. Wilder not only lacks that but overall balance ,he wouldn’t find Mike and it’s a fast knockout waiting to happen with a blistering combo power puncher that presses and hits with both hands with killer body shots as well .
Mike only lost a dozen rounds in his prime , I believe he was the best in the 80”s and those guys knew how to box . Wilder has lost most rounds when he stepped up, relying ona knockout to win is doom against Mike ,Wilder wouldn’t know his left from hIs right with Mike coming at him even now . The first clear shot to Wilders chin it’s done we see that and we see Wilder doesn’t take body shots well either , Tyson Fury is not Mike Tyson .its an entire different fight where Mike can just go through Wilder , he has no inside game .
once tyson realises the other guy will fight back he gets scared tbhComment

Alexander Povetkin
Deontay Wilder
Kubrat Pulev
Luis Ortiz
Bermane Stiverne
Vyacheslav Glazkov

Top Ten Joshua:
Tyson Fury, Champion
Anthony Joshua
Deontay Wilder
Joseph Parker
Alexander Povetkin
Luis Ortiz
Kubrat Pulev
Andy Ruiz Jr.
Dillian Whyte
Dominic Breazeale
Jarrell Miller
Been cracking along nicely but far from Mike's dominance.
Mike's main run was only 86-90
Both Joshua and Fury have had the time to match Mike's dominance. It's no one's fault but their own they choose to fight guys like Wallin and only choose to fight once in a while.
You can say but Trevor was old, ******, or scared. Fine, silly little girl's argument but I'll take it. You know what else Berbick was? A real HW champion. Something Pov and Pulev never achieved, Ruiz only got off the back of Josh himself, and Parker got gifted.Comment

1) Mike Tyson isn’t a top 5 heavyweight of all time I have these guys (no particular order) ahead of him:
Joe Louis
Muhammad Ali
Larry Holmes
Evander Holyfield
George foreman
Rocky Marciano
Lennox Lewis
Sonny Liston
Wladimir Klitchko
Joe Frazier
2) Tyson fury is actually pretty damn good and would be hard to beat for anyone in the past due to feints, size, and heart
3) AJ doesn’t deserve the acclaim of being so advanced for his age and being something at a young age in his career he gets from becoming a champ granted he beat Klitschko which I would state is great but Gary Cornish, Kevin Johnson, Denis Baktov aren’t the best opponents (not AJ’s fault) I just feel he’s being touted as this big crazy train but he’s gotten there by beating chumps along the wayComment

Because of the RJJ fight?
His defense, especially in the twilight of his career was outstanding. He wasn't unhittable, but he was a slick, slippery fighter for a man his size and for being past prime.
And here we go again btw, you and I will argue about Toney til the end of time.Comment

If they fought in early 2008(Pre-Marga, post Gomez) Cotto would have defeated Mayweather.
Luis Collazo defeated Hatton.
Mauricio Herrera defeated Danny Garcia.
Shane Mosley held back after he hurt Mayweather.
Mayweather was robbed in the Olympics.
Edison Miranda was robbed out of a victory in Germany vs Arthur Abraham in their first fight.
Jermain Taylor would have defeated Pavlik in the rematch if he stuck with Emmanuel Steward. His only mistake in the first fight was gassing in the second round after knocking down Pavlik.
Chavez Jr is a good boxer with very accurate punching, although he has zero heart and fails to conquer his own fears in the ring.

Aj was essentially handed everything to him;
His olympic gold medal , his ibf title that fury vacated that he fought fkn charles martin for and the 100s of millions of pounds he makes while having no personality fighting like a robot due to once again, his marketing and pr team handing it to himComment

Don't know if it's unpopular or not since I don't really see it discussed but I think boxing should have an odd number of rounds. There's too many draws in this sport and obviously having an odd number of rounds would help reduce that. It's the only competition that is a "best of" having an even number. Of course boxing has points deducted during rounds but if there isn't any foul or KD's during the fight, it can easily come down to judges have a fight 6-6, 5-5, etc. They should increase every fight size by 1 round.Comment
