A lot of the 'best' fighters aren't necessarily the best. They just have the best promoters and management (and judges).

Edit - a lot of people probably agree with this - but my point is that a lot of the 'other' guys are often times better than their record or notoriety. And the gap between them and the 'best' guys is often times not great at all.

Imagine for example if Culcay or Chilemba had the judges/promoter of Canelo or Ward? They would likely have 'won' every fight they had that went 12 rounds.

He seemed to take the time to go through it and give his opinion on each point. I think he was being genuine.

Canelo is overrated almost in every category he gets praised for, including but not limited to his level of "excitement" as a fighter.

The most talented fighters should be the most popular.

Tank at 130 has the best chance of beating Lomachenko.

Caleb Plant is the best fighter at 168 currently.

Champions needing to "deserve" a fight with other champions is a disgusting narrative that gets regurgitated by fans.

Most boxing fans on this site don't understand nor appreciate the epitome of boxing which is to hit & not be hit.

Eye test is more important than resume. But everyone's eye isn't equipped enough to determine what makes a fighter good/elite.

American fighters aren't promoted nor appreciated enough by the media.

Accolades by themselves don't necessarily mean you're an elite fighter regardless of division.

Fury doesn't get ridiculed enough for testing positive for PEDs.

This era of Heavyweights is vastly overrated.

Demetrius Andrade is a special fighter & has been since he was a teenager.

No fighter in boxing gets assessed off 1 performance more than BJS vs Lemieux.

There is a really good chance Crawford & Spence never happens.

Fighters receive way too much credit for becoming multiple division champions instead of fighting the people we want them to fight.

Meaningful fights should supersede every other fight in boxing but it's often an afterthought as boxing is a popularity contest.

AJ was fast tracked very early in his career & doesn't get enough credit to how quickly he was moved & rose to meet the challenges.

Josh Taylor owes Regis a rematch. Undisputed means there is no debate. & his win over Regis is most certainly debatable.

If Canelo doesn't fight Andrade in the next year/year & a half he should be ridiculed to the highest degree.

Just cause a fighter beats a fighter doesn't necessarily mean he's a better fighter than him.

Keith Thurman beat Manny Pacquiao on my card.

Danny Garcia beat Herrera on my card.

Daniel Jacobs was robbed of the greatest comeback in boxing history vs GGG.

GGG doesn't receive enough criticism for criticizing fighters for the best not fighting the best, fighters being business men, then turning into exactly what he criticized.

            Demetrius Andrade never ducked anyone.

Andre Ward really legitimately beat Kovalev twice.

Just cause a fight is 50-50 on paper doesn't mean a fighter won't get dominated when they fight.

People pick & choose when they want to acknowledge a fighter is ducking or being ducked in boxing.

People act as if a fighter can't have a bad night in their career.

Most boxing fans don't know what a duck is.

Being biased hurts boxing more than people are willing to admit.

Demetrius Andrade is one of the best defensive fighters in the sport.

            Lomachenko's defensive is overrated.

When ppl like the way, you win. They grossly overrate you.

I wouldn't be surprised if Crawford beat Mayweather in a mythical matchup.

If Floyd would have fought Demetrius Andrade around the time he fought Canelo it woulda been the most skillful fighter he fought in his career.

Sebastian Fundora shouldn't be allowed to compete at 154.

If AJ was never tryna impress the way Wilder did weeks before. Ruiz woulda never beat him.

In most cases a fighter not having "power" is vastly overrated in boxing. These dudes are professionally athletes, most of them hit hard. Punching power is often confused with punch placement.

Eddie Hearn doesn't care about his U.S. fighters the same way he does his UK fighters.

ESJ didn't keep that same energy for Crawford that he had for PBC welterweights.

            Jorge Linares is overrated.

Every fight doesn't need to be fought to know who's gonna win but ppl pretend that's the case when two fighters fight on TV a lot, among other things...

If Haney was like Floyd he would have never lost to Ryan 3 times in the amateurs.

Canelo lied to his fans about wanting to be undisputed & gets no ridicule for it.

Andre Ward doesn't get the respect he deserves.

Fighters know a threat when they see one but in most cases won't admit it.

Most boxing fans are followers & easily convinced.

The way Andrade beat Nelson is one of most impressive performances bar none I seen in this era.

            Bud would stop Thurman.

Marcus Browne could be the best or 2nd best LHW if he was more consistent.

Bud is the biggest puncher at 147.

Fighters may be over performing in these fights without fans.

Andrade now would beat GGG in his prime.

I could keep going but I think I gave enough good ones
so I’m not the only person who thinks Andrade is different

Terence Crawford is good, but very basic. Stop trying to make him Mayweather, he’s not on that level and never will be.

Based on what Crawford had proven he about Miguel Cotto level perhaps better

A very good but shy of great fighter
