It really depends how he loses. If it is a unanimous decision then people will look back at show he fought and say they were bums, If he gets KO'ed they will say it was a lucky punch.
If Lomachenko loses.

What now? It seems like your anus hurts because i talked bad about your boyfriend. A fggt and a nggr? You must be going places in this world!Originally posted by Ogecca MaMalol, only in your i-net world you are white. btw im half black..what now mf ?
Your attacks on me just solidify what we all know. That Lomachenko is in over his head here and will get dominated worse than he did against Salido.Comment

Stop talking out of ur black fggt arse.. Lopez is getting outboxedI can't believe people think Lomachenko has any chance of winning. He got shutout 12-0 against Salido and would have lost to Gary Russell if they counted the knockdown. I had Linares winning every round in that fight until Lomachenko punched him in the nuts and got a gift KO. Teofimo Lopez will blast this fggt white boy out within a few rounds. This is a mismatch.Comment

Yes it is how he loses.
Lomachenko is extremely impressive, but wow? Some people have gotten carried away with his ability.
I have watched Lomachenko 'Voluntarily duck into punches, with his guard up' that was his defense vs Luke Campbell. I have zero idea how such a fighter can be deemed technically superior to Floyd Mayweather 'When he was choosing to duck into punches'.
People in the sport have been effected by the universal stereotype 'That Eastern European fighters are technically more advanced than all other fighters'. Some people within boxing have accepted this as a Law 'It is the hundredth Monkey effect, playing out below in this interview'.

That is what I call a level-headed response. At the end of the day, when Loma hangs up his gloves at some point, thats when we will know how his career is judged, if he loses, how he loses, or wins and what fights remain for him will assemble into his totality of where he will stand in time.It will take a hit.
The first thing is about how the loss happens. If Lopez simply beats him up, then it is worse for Loma's legacy. If Lopez wins because he sneaks in a dirty headbutt which the ref ignores, opens a cut on Loma and Loma has to retire...
It also takes time to really gauge the impact of that kind of thing. If Lopez wins, then goes on to become P4P #1 and reigns for 10 years, then the loss doesn't look as bad. If Lopez wins, then gets stopped by Haney in his next fight, then Loma's loss would look worse.
I think that the basis of Loma's legacy has already been laid down. He already has some solid accomplishments, and a couple of firsts to his name. He's a lock for first ballot HoF. The next question for him is where he sits amongst the ATGs. If he gets beat up by Lopez, that question is affected in the negative.Comment

He is only 32 years old. Past his prime but not by much. So a loss to a guy with only 15 pro fights would have a negative effect on his legacy but it would still be a great legacy. I hope he wins impressively and shuts up the father and son braggers for a day or two.If Lomachenko loses on Saturday, how will it affect his legacy?
I don't think it'll affect it too badly. He's still accomplished more in 15-16 fights than most fighters do in their whole careers. He's tied for fewest number of fights to win a world title, and holds the record for fewest number of fights to become a 3 weight world champion.Comment

A 4 time, 2 division world champion is not a “bum”.
An undefeated world champion is not a “nobody”.
You’re either trolling or DKSAB. It’s likely the former.
