Fury has an awful style for any version of Wlad. Fury beats him. Wlad had a very limited but effective set of skills but Fury really knew exactly how to take them away and make him ineffective and could’ve done that to any version of him.
He smashes Joshua.
He beat Wilder probably 8 or 9 times out of 10 but you always have to give Wilder chance because of that power.
Don't we already basically know? I think we got a great idea if not.
He fought AJ past prime & damn near beat him. AJ was dead to rites in the 6th. That's still one of the best comebacks I've seen in a fight. But to the point I suspect a prime Wlad bests AJ based on an aged Wlad almost doing it.
Wlad sparred Wilder & from most accounts schooled him & even KO'd him from some accounts. Wlad was a very strong technical boxer & extremely strategic. Wilder is not. I think that heavily leans things Wlad's way if they had ever officially fought in the ring in some sci fi fantasy prime vs prime fight. I would say Wilder has a punchers chance, but that's his only chance & Wlad is probably too smart to get his head lined up too squarely with Wilder's right hand.
He also fought Fury & Fury had him confused like he was green all over again despite his vet status & superior ring experience. I think Fury's ring IQ far exceeds Wlad's & a prime, but less experienced Wlad probably does far worst vs Fury than his wiser self did.
Fury seems a bad style match up for Wlad but a prime Wlad would have Manny Steward in his corner who could well be the difference. Tough one I think Wlad stops the other two though.
Beats Wilder 8 or 9 times out of 10. 60/40 favourite over AJ. Probably loses to Fury more often than not, its just a bad match up for him and always would have been.
