If it was such a foregone conclusion then why did Wlad desperately want the rematch? He's a smart guy, right?

Wlad was terrible that night and never got to grips with Fury. Didn't gamble the right hand at all. He'd have been better second time around - Wlad knew that and that's why he chose to have the rematch.

Fury also knew that and didn't have a choice. He'd held the belts for 5 minutes and now had to fight Wlad again. Instead he gave up and hit the booze, drugs and kebabs.

You can call it mentally ill. Or you can say what happened.

Prime Wlad is a c-hair away from the version Fury already dominated. Negligible difference even though Fury haters spin a different narrative.

AJ struggled with Wlad at 41, it's safe to assume any better or fresher version actually kills him.

Wilder also gets stopped but doesn't literally die like AJ.

Wlad would have always lost to these kids. His whole straight in straight out bit works right into them.

Another way to say it is you're talking about a generation who was specifically trained to beat Wlad.

what wlad migth say and wat he does are 2 different things. His track record is always to run from rematch loss. Thats what you should be readnig into, actual fact.

We've seen him in one big fight. Plus two against the worst reigning champion in history. It's not enough to judge him yet - could be great. Might remain unproven. At his current rate his second 'reign' is starting to look like his first 'reign'.
hmm ok, though not sure i'd call wald an elite.

Vlad beats all 3 of them in very cagey and dull fights, Vitali would have beat the all too, but he does it in style and stops them all inside 8 rounds. At their peaks Vitali would have battered and stopped his brother as well, fella was a beast.

And yet he was desperate for this one.

You're setting a very high bar then.

Who do you have as a HW elite? Must be a small enough list to rattle off in a minute or so.

Wlad has already lost to 2 of them and I wouldn't put it past Wilder to KO him either considering how Wlad struggled when he didn't have a vast size advantage

100 year old Wlad almost beat Joshua, what do you think he does 10-12 years ago? Lol.

                      Wilder has no chance.

Fury beats him. Just a bad matchup for Wlad.
