Imagine if Wilder gave a ****

that's what makes all of this sad, how good he could of been, if he actually focused on perfecting his craft instead of his ego getting in the way

we'll be looking back at what he could of been

He only needs to be perfect for 2 seconds ... all it takes is one shot ... blah blah blah ...

He coulda been the star of a Space Jam sequel but he had to focus too much of his effort into twerking. A crying shame.

If he had tried to become a boxer then I suspect he would have been **** average.

He played to his one strength and it got him a long way. But he was never truly elite, just untested at the very highest level.

Beats everyone except Fury. Nothing wrong with being the second best HW of your era. He doesn't have great skills, but could KO almost anyone in history, infact, anyone in history on his day. I think he'd splatter Joshua all over the canvas inside a round if Joshua went for him early.

                Coulda woulda shoulda

Imagine if Wilder had boxing skills. Imagine if Malignaggi had power. Imagine if Khan had a good chin.

If Wilder had better boxing skills he might not have developed a exceptional knack for timing that right hand, which he does really well. He might have been technically more sound, but maybe a little less dangerous and effective.

I still believe he beats any heavyweight except fury anyway. the others are too much of a static target , You can’t fight and straight lines and be as stiff as a lot of these heavyweights and beat him. I wont include Usyk in that because we haven’t seen enough of him.

He would make easy work of the likes of Joshua and Whyte. They would be a sitting duck for his right hand and he never misses in that situation.

Maybe he has tried to improve but he is as good as he will ever be? He is pretty old right now and has been fighting pro a long time. Until the Fury rematch he was doing well and knocking everyone out.

He was massively protected throughout his career and didn't fight any more than a moderate challenge until he fought Fury then he got stopped. he's been matched well and maximised his limited ability
