Show me examples of him being a terrible boxer

Firing someone doesn't make you bad, your premise is highly unsupported

He got bronze in the olympics

You don't achieve this without fundamentals

Imagine if Wilder had boxing skills. Imagine if Malignaggi had power. Imagine if Khan had a good chin.

If Wilder had better boxing skills he might not have developed a exceptional knack for timing that right hand, which he does really well. He might have been technically more sound, but maybe a little less dangerous and effective.

I still believe he beats any heavyweight except fury anyway. the others are too much of a static target , You can’t fight and straight lines and be as stiff as a lot of these heavyweights and beat him. I wont include Usyk in that because we haven’t seen enough of him.

He would make easy work of the likes of Joshua and Whyte. They would be a sitting duck for his right hand and he never misses in that situation.
      This.

If Wilder was technically stronger maybe he's just DaVaryl Williamson 2.0. I think his awkwardness & unconventionalness is part of his success.

        What are you talking about?
He did pretty well for a guy who can't really box.
He cares, he did as good as he could.
He was always going to lose against the first legit fighter he faced, his team did well to keep him away from real threats, they got greedy with Fury (they thought he was easy win) it just didn't go that way.
I still think Povetkin would have beat Wilder, AJ probably wins because he can box and even Andy Ruiz would probably beat Wilder.

There's only so far he could have got as he's got no coordination and is inherently clumsy.

If within the past 5 years or so someone actually said to him...

"Ok bomber, you got the power, but how about we teach you to box, throw some jabs, move, so that you don't get run over by any boxer who can box?"

He would be an exceptional boxer and far more dangerous.

Look at Tyson, he has power and could box... and of course he actually fought and as far as I recall, not protected.

Is Wilder entertaining? For sure... but I don't respect him as a boxer nor is he ever going to go down in history as an All time great... because let's be honest... those ATG's.... could box.
