If that was the case you don't think Floyd would keep throwing that in people's faces? He's not a humble guy but he's said the Canelo fight was easier than McGregor. If he floated Conor he'd admit to it to downplay Conor.

You can try to play psychologist with what Floyd was thinking, I can only go by what he's actually said.

Conor was much bigger and he was/is an awkward fighter it took Money rounds to feel him out.

Floyd also actually said he didnt train for McGregor at all and that he cant punch. He literally walked straight towards McGregor no head movement whatsoever. Didnt bother defending himself as nothing of niite coming back. Easy money as he also said.

Now he sure as **** trained for Canelo. If you want to watch a charade like that again good for you its a waste of time the guy cannot box. If there is no choice then stick him in with Canelo actually end this bs for good.

Pure coping mechanism. Floyd hates white people and MMA, hes also one of the richest athletes ever. You really think he could somehow be convinced to allow a trash talking big mouth white MMA fighter to last half an hour with him, win multiple rounds and not get knocked down a single time? his ego would never allow it. Not to mention his output wasnt any lower than vs any other opponent.

Are people gonna say Pac carried Conor if it lasts longer and is more competitive than they hoped too? or will they just focus on Pacs age and size?

People acting like Floyd vs Mcgregor was a win for anything other than the promoters' and fighters' bank accounts are fooling themselves.

Floyd came in visibly past his best, didn't train, looked like garbage by his typical standards.

McGregor came in trying to portray himself as some kind of monstrous fighting machine and then in the ring looked shy and rigid, didn't throw a punch that looked like it could break wet tissue paper, was completely gassed after a few rounds despite the relatively sedate pace of the fight, and despite Floyd not training, being old and looking like garbage, ended up being his first stoppage victim in 6 years.

A fight between McGregor and Pacquiao will be just as if not even more pointless, unless McGregor's made massive, massive improvements to his boxing game in the last three years.

Look I get it. you think just because McGregor is some sort of power puncher in MMA he automatically transfers that power into Boxing. Doesn't work like that poor boxing technique meant he had zero pop which allowed Mayweather to dismiss any pretence at defence. Have you ever seen Mayweather no move his head in a fight before and just march forward?

So why would anyone want to see that again?

So what incentive would Floyd have to let an 0-0 in boxing MMA fighter last that long and be that competitive with him? you really think hes the type of person to allow himself to look bad? the guy has a huge ego. It would take a hell of a lot of money to bribe him considering he was no1 on the Forbes richest athletes list for like 5 years running and can make **** tons of money in plenty of other ways without letting MMA fighters win rounds against him. And if it was him placing a bet on himself to win in a certain round, why the 10th? why not the 1st? the 3rd? the 5th? if you're confident you can take someone out whenever you feel like it why wait that long? to leave the door open for a rematch? 3+ years later and it still hasnt happened. To entertain the fans? since when did he ever care about entertaining fans before? hes one of the most boring PPV stars boxing ever had.

Also, why did he have a fight in B league MMA org Rizin against a 5'5, 125lb 20 year old Japanese kickboxer a year later? Tenshin is a nobody, Rizin is nothing, he probably made peanuts relative to his usual pay, it was all random as ****. My theory is his ego was dented from not easily destroying Conor, so he wanted to make up for it by acting like he was stepping into the MMA arena (by having a boxing rules fight on an MMA card of course because hes not ******) and then demolishing a much smaller guy in the first round.

You ask what incentive he would have, then save me the bother by listing them. Cheers

McGregor evidently is a trash boxer but thats understandable as he is a MMA fighter. So no i dont want to see that again if I wanted to watch someone who cant box id watch some white collar boxing. For free.

You obviously think he is decent but thats because YDKSAB.

Debunking, not listing. Floyd willingly looking that **** in the fight makes no sense and you know it. Again, I wonder if you'll cling to these conspiracy theories if Pac isnt able to take out this "white collar boxer" all that quickly or easily either? anything to avoid accepting that a bigger, younger, stronger fighter who trains boxing thousands of hours as part of his own sport might actually be able to last a while in a boxing match with big gloves, short rounds, standing counts and only punches to worry about.
