It is just a very big maybe and very likely won't happen. Pac should murder him if it does happen. Pac will go after him hard from the start. he does not know any other way. He won't toy with him and carry him rounds like Mayweather did.

I want to see it. I know Manny will wind up stopping him but Conor really surprised me in the Floyd fight. He was fun to watch and was WAY better than I thought he would be.

Did you hear the news about Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao? Nothing is official yet in terms of the fight happening, but it seems like both parties are keen to get it sorted. What do you think, will it push through or would you rather see Conor get back to MMA?

I think it makes more sense if Pacquiao is retired, but if he is planning to continue his career after facing McGregor then I would rather see him face an Errol Spence Jr. or Terrence Crawford, or at least a Mikey Garcia.

I completely understand the cash-grab aspect of it; I would just rather see Manny vacate the belts and go all-in for profitable exhibitions if that's what he wants to do.

Its not BS its a major contender for Manny, not definite but its clearly in the running for Mannys next fight, too much money on the table for a cake walk for Manny to ignore.

Reason why its being considered is because Manny has no way of leaving the country atm due to their rolling lockdown's. The Government's COVID response in Pinas is a mess so Pac really can't take a legitimate opponent.

At least with Connor he doesn't need to really train and its easy money.

Its purely about money, the rest attempts to justify it .

If he can fight Con he can fight a legit guy in his place same place, Manny likes money as the next guy cant blame for that and this is easy money, it would have been not so blatant and a kick to the belts he holds if Manny was not active in boxing because somebody is pushed out of a title shot.

Its mental gymnastics and coping mechanisms. An 0-0 in boxing MMA fighter lasts 10 rounds vs Floyd, wins 3-4 of them and never gets knocked down, and yet salty boxing fans still either pretend it was actually a victory for boxing or try to convince themselves that Floyd was somehow persuaded to let an MMA fighter (a white one at that) do that well against him. If Conor and Pac fight it'll be the same deal most likely. Anything to avoid accepting that some of these MMA guys can actually box too.
