Wish they woulda put one in there, I have a feeling this is gonna be a good fight that could have rematch implications. It's a win win for arum, if Loma loses he has the best young talent in boxing as a unified champ and if loma wins he adds a solid ass w against a young champion

Says Bob off to organise the Fury vs Wilder rematch which BOB negotiated and is stinking up the division. Didn't they rig the WBC rankings so Fury counted as a mandatory so no rematch necessary ... unless Bob likes rematches.

If it turns out to be an exciting fight that ends in controversy then the demand for a rematch will surely be too great to ignore.
Lets just hope we get some good action to talk about. I don't really care who wins. I like the skills and attitude of both guys - kind of like fire and ice - and Teo's right hand to Commey's chops was probably my favourite punch of 2019. Just a perfectly timed and delivered punch. You can't beat it when you can clearly hear the leather-on-face crack! That would have rocked anyone's world up to 147 lbs. And you know these Ghanian dudes are all tough as oak trees when it comes to absorbing clean shots. Loma beware

Arum is the grandfather of rematches.
              He doesn't need clauses.

Rematch clauses have ruined the sport by preventing unification fights and, as a result, ruin the chance to make boxing history.

The only reason to have a rematch clause is if a champion loses his belt in unusual circumstances ie. suffers an injury in the match or is DQ'd etc.

But if a fighter just gets beaten down, there's no reason to have one. For example, you don't need a rematch clause for Povetkin vs. Whyte. Whyte got KTFO'd, the rematch clause for that fight doesn't benefit the sport of boxing, it benefits Whyte. Same goes Ruiz and Joshua, even Wilder vs. Fury.

Fairly certain he wrote a rematch clause for Manny if he lost against Horn.

Which of course, Manny ducked that rematch, but still, there was a clause.

Lol Arum must've forgot that he put a rematch clause on the contract for Moloney-Franco which is why they are fighting again soon.
