Really? Precisely where did I go wrong? Do they both love cameras? Yes...are they both annoying? Yes...do they both lie through their teeth? Yes....

Which of those points were ludicrous comparisons?

Lomachenko is free in the us and peanuts everywhere else.

I totally agree....That's why the mugs are still paying £20 PPV for c+ level fights on sky and the real fans get a A level match up for £10 on Fite.

So then Bob should offer it for free in the UK instead of squeezing out pennies from a forth rate player in the UK in FITE TV.

Now I am not disparaging FITE TV but they are a very minor player in the UK and Bob sold it to them rather than any of the other major players in the UK. What does that tell you about Bob's asking price in the UK for other major television networks.

Does Eddie ask FOX or Showtime to pay for his shows in the UK and then throw a tantrum when they are not shown.

How much is Frank asking to put Dubois vs Joyce on ESPN when the time is much more amenable to an audience on Saturday afternoon rather than 4am in the UK on Sunday morning.

Bob wants his cake and wants to eat it as well and then throws his toys out of the pram when people say no.

Now I like the fight between Loma and Lopez but I will not be getting up in the middle of the night to watch it. I will be watching it next morning on YouTube or Dailymotion like most sensible people who are not in the US timezone.

Until Arum actually gives us better fights, I'm on the side of Sky Sports here.

It tells me that a very minor player can afford it so can sky or bt. Bob is moaning about ppv at this moment in time. Not about the Loma fight

I'm not seeing the relation between the two here. Sky/Matchroom is killing UK boxing by putting some UK fights on PPV for £20 (and often getting good numbers doing it), but hey look at this US based fight that you can watch for £10 at 4am on an obscure internet streaming service!!? how does that effect UK boxing in any way?

Also this "real fan" snobbery is cringe bro. Surely someone who wasnt a "real" fan wouldnt pay to watch boxing in the first place?

A lot of this just comes down to people being pissed off that Sky/Matchroom/Hearn are successful enough to be able to go to PPV relatively often anyway. Frank would do it too if he felt he could, but for whatever reason he just cannot generate enough interest for his fights, even while having guys like DDD and Yarde.
