I don't see the point in that. Shouldn't he be promoting himself and his opponents? Wouldn't that be the smarter thing to do so people give you credit.

Floyd's a tard. Has an IQ of a 2 year old.
    lol, dats true

Gatti was for the name and the fame.
Zab was planned before he lost to Baldomir. It's not his fault Zab lost.
I talked about Bruseles & Chop.
I heard Sharmba was a tune-up for moving up in weight.

& it not Judah's fault that Baldmoir didn't pay the fees, I know it's ****ed up to not get all the belts after you win, but if you were in Judah's position would you have refused to accept the belt back & a possible chance at being the first guy to beat the undefeated p4p #1. I think they both get alot of grief for that situation, but I doubt anyone would say "no thanks I don't want the belt, I don't deserve it"

Chop Chop Corley - last choice, he wanted Ricky Hatton
Henry Bruseles - to get to Gatti
Chop's a pretty good fighter, hes only lost to a handful of guys, floyd being one of them.

Bruseles,well...Mayweather could have gotten the Gatti fight without him.The mitchell fight is hard to justify for floyd, even as a "tune up"

Well, no matter who PBF fights they're gonna say he doesn't deserve the fight, people are saying Baldomir's an old man who doesn't deserve the fight, I completely disagree.

Well he called gatti a c-level fighter before the fight, and a great champ or something after the fight.

                I guess thats his strategy.

I don't think so. Gatti's people wanted to avoid Floyd. They were even using Floyd's legal problems as an excuse. Floyd's fight with Bruseles took place a week before Gatti's fight with Leija.
Gatti/Mayweather was planned for the summer of '05, since the ending of '04.

Ok so it's painfully obvious at this point that Mayweather is not going to fight Margarito anytime soon. A year ago, Mayweather would have said the same things about Baldomir that he's saying about Margarito. The difference is, Margarito took out Manuel Gomez, and Baldomir, in the same time frame, has taken out Judah and Gatti. Margarito is supposed to fight on a doubleheader with Cotto in December. If Margarito's people can't get him in an attractive fight then to give Mayweather something to be attracted to, then they only have themselves to blame. Margarito should have taken the hint a long time ago and tried to force the issue instead of simply waiting for Mayweather to come around. Margarito has not done enough to be irresistible to Mayweather. Meanwhile, Baldomir has become the welterweight champion, and even if Mayweather feels he will beat Baldomir easily, to achieve the welterweight championship is something that attracts Floyd and something he knows will shut people up.

The depressing fact of this is, regardless of what you think of Baldomir, if Mayweather beats him, Mayweather is undeniably the welterweight champion having beaten the man who beat the man. I don't like it, but I can't argue with it.
