According to most ppl here Lopez is not on Lomas level nor ready....

There's been a lot of good responses on this thread and I think this is one of the best (my first one not bad)Wrong.
I’ve said this long before and i’ll say it again. As a latino from NYC, I wish Lopez wins. I’d be happy if he proves me wrong.
But I think Lomachenko will win. Will I be hurt if he loses? I am not an exclusive-Eastern European boxer lover like some posters here. But I like Lomachenko and respect his career and respect his resume.
If Lopez wins, please bump all of my posts saying Lomachenko will win. I’d be happy to be wrong. I’ve said this for as long as Lopez has been calling him out. A latino from NYC beating a top 3 P4P fighter and one of the greatest amateur’s/Olympians in boxing history? I’d *****ing proud as ***** to be wrong on my prediction.
Still doesn’t change that Lopez can use more experience at the top level. Like vs Fortuna, Easter, Bart. Even taking on the lesser fighters like Linares or Campbell. Or other up and coming fighters like Ryan Garcia or Devin Haney.
Fighting Commey and skipping straight to Lomachenko right after that, with very little exposure to the top level? That’s ballsy, I guess? Or ******. Guaranteed Arum is shaking his head at Lopez wanting Lomachenko. A very young, possible superstar in the making, about to get schooled and made look like a fool so young. I really wanted him to dominate the lesser LW fighters first.
.
Bottom line is this is a good fight, right ? That's all a boxing fan can really say, right? Thankful that we are getting a fight like this. Props to both guys. All this whahhh whaahh whaaa - loma's a loser noo matter what stuff - - Why does that even need to be a focus. Man just enjoy the fight. These kind don't happen every day.
Peace

Easily ?Right?
So if Loma beats him he shouldn’t get much credit right because according to most here lopez is too green not ready for Loma so it shouldn’t mean much correct?
And if Lopez beats him then Loma really looks like crap because he lost to a green Lopez who was never on his “level”.
You guys better stick to what your saying come the 17th.
I don’t wanna hear crazy praise for beating a guy Loma should have beaten easily all along.
Lopez is unproven and has zero wins over elite level.
Imo loma will win , but he will outwork a good young fighter .
Lopez is try to impose his will but he may tire out at some point around the 8th round . He will get a 2nd win near round 11 but it will be to late.
This is similar to vargas vs trinidad when it comes to pedegree. I wouldnt be surprised to see a rematch in a year .
Loma isnt a dumb fighter and he is very skilled especially with footwork . Lopez is a strong fighter who we havent seen in deep in the championship rounds .
Lopez gameplan will be to make loma fight backing up ,problem is loma has great footwork .
Lomas gameplan will be to play el matador and box circles around the aggressive fighter .
I say loma UD 7-5 or 8-4Comment

Its obvious you have other agendas here too.Well, there are many detractors like me who really haven't gotten the memo on Loma's 'greatness,' who think he had some careful matching at TR, along with some corrupt positioning with the crooked belt organizations. Which great fighter has he beaten?
Loma is a good fighter like Lopez is a good fighter. Nothing beyond that.
I pick Lopez by KO within 8 rounds.Comment

Difference is Lopez can box as well, but he never gets credit because people are so focused on the knockouts and the post fight antics. Salido gave everyone the blueprint, Lopez will follow suit.
Loma can punch but not as hard at 135, in his last 3 fight 2 of them went to the cards. Lopez knows he can't let it get to the cards hence the "I'm gonna knock him out" or "It's not going past 3 rounds" chants.
With that being said, Lopez in 5.Comment

That sounds fair enough, i've heard teo say he doesn't get enough credit for his boxing ability, this is his big shot to bank some creditDifference is Lopez can box as well, but he never gets credit because people are so focused on the knockouts and the post fight antics. Salido gave everyone the blueprint, Lopez will follow suit.

Linares won his next fight after Loma.Yup helluva fight right even on the cards up until th stoppage and Loma got dropped aswell.
Then Linares gets ktfo in his next fight in 1 fucxking rd by a journeymen hahahahhaahhah
All of a sudden that back n forth battle for Loma looked like shiaaattt.!!!
Do you think Lopez/Loma will be competitive vladiisky?
Loma dislocated his shoulder in what, the second round? He still didn't let it go to decision and took Linares out of there.
And if I'm not mistaken, it was Loma's debut at 135, wasn't it?Comment

lopez is more proven than davis so what you just said doesnt make a lick of sense. he doesnt get credit for beating lopez but will for beating davis? why? cause davis has more hype? davis' only notable win is over #6 ranked guy while lopez beat the #2 guy. if you are going to say someone like a completely shot gamboa well then good luck to you. that asian guy lopez beat is ten times better than him and everyone else davis fought was pure crapLast edited by daggum; 10-02-2020, 06:02 PM.Comment
