No, it's not as simple as that. Same can be said for Canelo's win over GGG since so many discredit GGGs career based on his resume and completely overlook the skills displayed.

Lopez is young and his resume is obviously not as deep as Loma's, however, this is abreal fight. Lopez is big, confident and talented enough to give Loma a challenge. If Lopez wins or does better than expected it could just be a case of people underestimating how good he really is.

2nd, since you picked Lopez by KO, you give Loma proper credit if he wins and that gets him further from Davis career-wise.

But don’t worry, there’s somebody who has a more carefully managed career than Tank. That’s the guy he’s fighting next
If Davis was as hyped as Loma, I wouldn't give him much credit if he beat Lopez.

So if Loma beats him he shouldn’t get much credit right because according to most here lopez is too green not ready for Loma so it shouldn’t mean much correct?

And if Lopez beats him then Loma really looks like crap because he lost to a green Lopez who was never on his “level”.

You guys better stick to what your saying come the 17th.

I don’t wanna hear crazy praise for beating a guy Loma should have beaten easily all along.

Lopez is unproven and has zero wins over elite level.
I think if Lopez wins its a huge upset that warrants much credit. I think if Loma wins he should get credit as well even though he is a huge favorite.

I would be very surprised if Lopez won. Not because he is green or young, but because Loma is technically superior.

Davis, if he beats Lopez, and you won't hear anything from me. I know they'll fight, tho. There were some missed opportunities.

Davis? Just tell him to man up. I’m in for that too

teo has done well coming up winning a title in good fashion and he's a young gun, how good is he, noone really knows yet & then going on to challenge one of the top guy's. Loma at 135 is not going to ruin teo, i'm sure of that, he might outbox him in a good fight, which is most likely but then again teo might do better than expected, that's why it's a good fight, it's not like some of loma's other fights, crolla campbell where u knew there was very little danger to loma really, this on paper is a more exciting fight because teo can punch hard and is athletic, the question is is he a good enough boxer to pull it off?

Na man, Lopez is riding high. He's super confident in his abilities and power and he's hitting his prime. He should struggle with how unorthodox Loma is, but Loma is slipping ever so slightly.

I'll get shit for this but I think there's a fair chance Lopez gets the stoppage.
