    Wrong.

I’ve said this long before and i’ll say it again. As a latino from NYC, I wish Lopez wins. I’d be happy if he proves me wrong.

But I think Lomachenko will win. Will I be hurt if he loses? I am not an exclusive-Eastern European boxer lover like some posters here. But I like Lomachenko and respect his career and respect his resume.

If Lopez wins, please bump all of my posts saying Lomachenko will win. I’d be happy to be wrong. I’ve said this for as long as Lopez has been calling him out. A latino from NYC beating a top 3 P4P fighter and one of the greatest amateur’s/Olympians in boxing history? I’d *****ing proud as ***** to be wrong on my prediction.

Still doesn’t change that Lopez can use more experience at the top level. Like vs Fortuna, Easter, Bart. Even taking on the lesser fighters like Linares or Campbell. Or other up and coming fighters like Ryan Garcia or Devin Haney.

Fighting Commey and skipping straight to Lomachenko right after that, with very little exposure to the top level? That’s ballsy, I guess? Or ******. Guaranteed Arum is shaking his head at Lopez wanting Lomachenko. A very young, possible superstar in the making, about to get schooled and made look like a fool so young. I really wanted him to dominate the lesser LW fighters first.

If Lopez is too green and unproven, who’s not in this division?

Don’t tell me it’s Haney or Garcia cause Lopez is at least more worthy than them

To add insult to injury, Lomachenko’s 15 pro fights have been against more top opponents. Lopez lone top opponent was his last fight vs Commey. He literally JUST stepped up.

I’ve been saying this ever since Lopez was going around calling Lomachenko out and some fans were saying Lomachenko was ducking him.

Lopez is so eager to lose though, that’s on him. I personally have very low expectations from Lopez in this fight. If he wins, it would be a shocker. If he loses I would say okay that’s what I expected due to the experience gap. Dude is 23 and has done nothing all year. Losing out on a year of boxing is big for a young fighters growth as a pro boxer. Every fight matters. And when you’re 23 you should be fighting 3-4 times a year, not once.
Then again, Lopez is more worthy opponent than Haney or Garcia. At least Lopez stepped up his competition. So he deserves a shot and either deserves proper credit for whoever wins.

True. He is second best at 135 right now, following by linares,
          Haney,Garcia, Tank
Both guys deserve recognition for winning it. Also A decent amount of people and proBoxer are picking up Lopez to win.

Tell me, who should Loma beat in his division that’s not green among the contenders? Off the top of my head are Commey and Campbell.

I don't think he's ready and don't give him any chance but I give Lopez props, guy is a savage for taking this fight. Something Haney or Tank would never do, they want Loma to get old. At least Teo is going for it win or lose with little experience.

Loma is more overall skilled and more experience. I expect him to win.
However Lopez has great speed and KO power in both hands. And Loma has been KDed perhaps by those with lesser speed and pop. So he is KOable by Lopez. Loma will have to have great defense and avoid while he breaks him down.
So prob Loma by decision or late stoppage, if I had to bet.
But again a KO by Lopez would not surprise me either.

Loma is a good fighter like Lopez is a good fighter. Nothing beyond that.

I pick Lopez by KO within 8 rounds.
1st of all, Davis’ career is more carefully managed than Loma’s

2nd, since you picked Lopez by KO, you give Loma proper credit if he wins and that gets him further from Davis career-wise.

But don’t worry, there’s somebody who has a more carefully managed career than Tank. That’s the guy he’s fighting next

For someone who supports Lopez, you really set too much standards for him. Those standards should be set on Garcia and Haney, since those 2 haven’t done any jack yet and they think they deserve a shot already.

I hated Lopez badmouthing but I admire his balls though. He stepped up better than the other young guns, and now he’s stepping up against ‘the man’
