Even in your dreams you wouldn't be able to "catch up" to him, your best win was a match where you fought for dear life against a 40+ year old Wlad, then got knocked out by a fat Mexican..and then deciden to run from the same over weight out of shape guy. Also Fury beat the guy you are ducking for God knows how many years. Stick to hiding behind your "boy" Heard and stick to the Pulev's and Parker's !!

Look what Bernard Hopkins did with a "late start" to his career. Joshua is also naturally more gifted than Fury. His build and physique is naturally better for a fighter/athlete. Being an amateur does not mean you do not get worse experience than a pro fighter. Being a pro just means you get paid more for your fights and in some cases cannot compete in certain tournaments. Those comparing the ages beteen the two are missing the point.
Inarguably, Joshua got into boxing late. Didn't box at all until he was 18. And when he was starting as an amateur, Fury was a pro. Hence, he viewed it as being a gap of eperience between the two. But now they are in a position to fight for all the marbles. That is all.Comment

Said the same thing when Wilder was his rival and when that was the biggest fight in boxing at the time!
Fury is gonna make his presence known and force AJ to quit like Ruiz did!
Too many tricks from Fury, size advantages, reach advantages, footwork, foot speed, boxing IQ, stamina, southpaw & orthodox, better arsenal, better chin, more heart and can fight dirty!
Fury by TKO in 8 or lessComment

Mate I'm a fan of Fury but just think about what you're saying.
You're putting wins against Wallin, Schwarz, Seferi and Pianeta up against actual big fight title defences, unifications and mandatories. Never mind the debate about whether he was still lineal at that time after his retirement and drugs ban.Comment

He would be correct and it further shows how fast along AJ has come ,so I’m not sure you know what you are talking about here ? What he’s saying is he thought Fury would probably not be in line to fight him so soon .AJ is on record saying he's "not really part of Furys generation". Saying Fury was far further along in hes careers and how he's had to learn on the job quickly. Whyte and some of the Sky team have been saying something similar. I guess Foreman knocking out Moorer shouldve been expected going by this logic.
What does Foreman knocking out Moorer have anything to do with a 20 something fight AJ catching up to a still prime Fury ? Moorer was the champion and a heavy favorite that thought Foreman was done it has zero to do with AJs statements. HaLast edited by REDEEMER; 09-30-2020, 03:48 PM.Comment

Wilder/Wlad etc defended their belts/titles against many sub-par opponents, and what?Mate I'm a fan of Fury but just think about what you're saying.

The facts are, Fury has defended his lineal title multiple times, the opposition are irrelevant.
There's no debate, ring champ, lineal, the man who beat the man.Comment

Why does AJ keep talking about this?
They made their debut’s just over 4 years apart, they have a year difference in age.
The only difference is Fury turned pro at about 19 and AJ in his 20’s
It’s really a non story. Turning pro 4 years apart but basically the same age means you’re in the same era.
If AJ was saying it about Wlad, fair enough.
He's insecure.
AJ is basically a beta.Comment
