"Joshua had his first amateur bout the same year Fury became a professional."

Yet Fury is only 32! Still in his prime! Usyk can wait!

AJ pretending he's a prospect now, same narratives as Whyte. Of course, boxing history shows this isn't how it works. People beat champions who were at the top when they themselves hadn't even turned pro yet.

TF is AJ talking about, dude your 31 years old. It's not Fury's fault you started late, and If anything had AJ started at the same time he probably would've been chinned several times along the way not just once.

Josh has did well and progressed fast. But can't compare to tyson. Different stories and fury did things as they made sense. Josh was amateur longer so was learning also, training is training at end of day.

My god the hypejob likes to blow his own trumpet.
All i took out of that was they're basically the same age, Fury has 2 legacy wins against 2 number 1 heavyweights as the underdog & Ajs never fought a top 2 heavyweight.

People call Ezzard too old to be a good Marciano win, he's only a year older than Rock.

I'm not defending Joshua, just saying boxing as a whole is hypocritical. Maybe Joshua pushes this because he found out an "old man" on someone's resume was only a year or so older than the resume holder or some such and thought since that instance is widely accepted his would be too.

The die hard Fury fans don’t like hearing it but what AJ said was truth ,had Fury actually stayed in boxing without the leave of absence he probably would have fought AJ already because it was either going to be Wlad or Fury by now . Should have been both but Fury opted for Wilder instead .

Those who really want the fight will understand why talks are ongoing of the fight ,those who don’t really want the fight will keep saying AJ should keep quiet.

How did you come to that conclusion reading that ? Nowhere in the article does it suggest that ,in fact it’s the opposite of AJ saying he’s caught up to a Fury fight and was ready fights ago .

Is this the same interview re-posted or is AJ trying to really hard sell people on this?

Fury turned pro young and looked very green early on. He's listed as having 35 am fights, AJ as having 43. But AJ's talking as if he's Lopez facing Loma with the experience gap
