Only loser here clearly is Canelo.. GBP/DAZN relationship clearly continuing. They’re practically announcing 2 cards, business as usual. While Canelo can stew and attempt to break the contract, let him wait 2 years. Once fans come back he will be mandated to fight GGG & can decide to take the fight, DAZN will offer him full pay for that fight, but GBP will not do that fight until fans can come back and pay for tickets.

I hope Golden Girl gets taken to the cleaners! Would be nice if Canelo gets out of his contract with Golden Girl and DAZN. To hell with both. How Masvidal is more acceptable than Callum Smith...

Canelo prefers to wreck his career than give GGG a 3rd fight. You have to ask why. They were difficult fights but Golovkin is not the same fighter now as he was at the time of the 1st fight - the 3rd fight would be easier.

I remember Canelo saying he wanted 35 million per fight. Not. It was the take over, and he didn't start it. Remember Miller was offered 6 mil, and he was a druggie. Andy cleaned up. DAZN wanted a monopoly, handing out cash like it was water. Time to pay the piper.

They're still negotiating; Canelo refiled because if he lets the lawsuit lapse he loses his negotiating leverage.

It’s requesting a jury. When the Jury hears the various complaints I assure they are not going to solely contextualize a pandemic. There are many problems, many of which were promises to Canelo. Those are outside of the fact that Canelo agreed to a 30% cut. DAZN and GBP didn’t prioritize to help Canelo. The guy who in theory pushes their subs. The court will analyze metrics being presented on how DAZN did when Canelo fought. If those metrics are promising then DAZN and GBPwill have a hard time convincing the jury regarding fighter lists or that they couldn’t pay him. DAZN will also have to disclose their expected earnings for a Global launch because Canelo’s dates would carry onto it. That was the point of the big deal that they enjoyed seeing GBP promote to the world.

It'll be solved out of court. If not force majeure will be the counter argument by DAZN, and they'll likely win.

well it’s certainly does because they have not paid him what he wants and I am sure if all events are cancelled due a world pandemic then most contracts have a get out clause.
It’s ginger diva demanding he gets his slice of pie
