Not too sure whether you're agreeing or disagreeing with me?! No matter because we're both entitled to have, and voice, our opinions.

However, although I agree that arum is correct here, there's is also more than a touch of hypocrisy.

That's the kind of thing that can happen to anyone if they drop their guard for a second. Reminds me of Crawford vs Indongo. Indongo was coming off of brilliant wins back then too before he got cut down by Crawford's body shot, except Arum didn't cry back then about Indongo being unworthy because Crawford picked up another belt in that fight.
An informed statement. Khongsong kayoed Kondo (the only person to do it)...and Kondo gave Lipinets hell. That was a beautiful body shot. Khongson came out firing...not looking like a guy who was scared or didn't belong. He just was not as good as Taylor and got caught.

Well.. It kinda reminded me of Spence-Ocampo. Only difference is we knew it was a missmatch ( to put it mildly ) beforehand. In that case you are jeopardizing a young man's career. Not just disapointing fans. Or spending the old mans money. Ocampo could have been worthy if allowed to improve a couple levels. He still was in the prospect level of his career. I didn't see Bobby crying about that one.

That's easier said than done. The Promoters would have to be brought together; and ALL be on the same page. With the rivalries and underhanded dealing of some of them, each trying to sign or wheedle away good fighters from the others, etc. a Herculean expectation. You are right of course, but this has been brought up, lingered a while, and vanished several, even many times.

He doesn’t like mandatory mismatches. Voluntary mismatches are a different story though.

Debatable and you don’t CPI t the other champions ans when you add in the Wbas plethora of titles that takes about 5-6 guys out of it as eligible to fight for the vacant title.

Was Damen Vazquez who I think really fights at 118 a top 15 fighter ? He just fought Iggy Brandon Figz for his fake wba 122 LB strap.

Navarrete vs Villa is much better than that.

Arum is the biggest liar and thief, and his business is almost broke. If he cared, he wouldn't allow mismatches like Loma-Marriaga. "Yesterday I was lying, today I'm lying too." -Bob Arum
