Considering you have people that would consider Lyle Fitzsimmons mierda after that article, I’ll be the first to say it. Lyle sos una mierda!

I’m not a panama Lewis fan, in fact deep down I agree with a lot of what Fitzsimmons said.

I also wouldn’t speak like that about any man that wasn’t present to defend themselves, much less a man that has passed away.

I’m not a fan of Panama Lewis and my heart goes out to Collins, Arguello and everybody that has been victim to Panamas shady behavior.

Panama Lewis was a scoundrel plain, and simple placing other's lives at risk. All that mattered to him was that the corner he was working won no matter what. He was complicit in ruining Billy Collins' career, and ultimately his life. Luis Resto was in on it too, there's no way a boxer can't feel that the gloves he's wearing are different then they normally feel. He may have also prevented Alexis Arguello from beating the great Aaron Pryor in their first fight. That was a hell of a fight with furious back, and forth action. Arguello giving as good as he got, and maybe even better. I remember one particular punch where Pryor's rushing in, and Aruello catches him flush. Pryor's head bent backwards from the impact of the blow, like a Pez dispenser. It almost looked like his head would come off, an incredible punch and Arguello could really crack. What was so crazy about the whole thing was Pryor just kept on coming after Arguello like nothing had happened. I know Pryor had great recuperative powers, because he'd always would come back from good shots landed by his opponents. Some who were known for the power in their fist. Any way it just makes you wonder when he's asking for a bottle he mixed, so he can administer it to Pryor in between rounds. Anyway as I started saying in this post Panama Lewis was a real weasel, he couldn't find enough ways to cheat.

Recent glove tampering by Tyson Fury has made me dishearten with the sport of boxing. I have completely lost trust in officials overseeing safety of boxers and the integrity of the sport.

You would think that after Carlos "Panama" Lewis and Luis Resto's glove-loading scandal, that the sport would be safer nowadays. Yet, Tyson Fury has proven that its only getting worse.

I guess it's not called cheating unless you are caught. Boxing cheats are as old as the sport itself. There have been a lot of subterfuge and deception in the sport of boxing. The only difference is those that weren't caught were smart enough to get away with it. Ain't that right ladies!
